Solved it: I found a universal key online: 3FLL-43UU-JTN8-W8EX-25J3
It is to install the Mass Effect DLC. It is posted in almost every ME Forum.

Welp, that key apparently no longer works because when I input it I am told that it been used its maximum number of times and will not install the DLC. This is quite frustrating...
I'd really like to play this DLC but I can't even REGISTER Mass Effect to get my own personal key because I don't see the option to in my drop-down under my account. Is there no other solution?
