 Just like the title of the thread- where can I buy Jade Empire or Jade Empire SE for PC?  Digital download is preferable.  I'd prefer not to buy from Steam, since there seems to be a common Win7 compatability error and DirectX 9 ...

I don't believe you can find it digital outside of Steam. That being said, Amazon seems to have a few new and used copies of the game HERE.

You can buy it from Steam for $14.

It's on GameFly. Don't know exactly what the DRM is if any, but I know it's not Steam as it doesn't say '3rd party download required'.
