To begin, I just want to say that I am by no means one of the fans that is upset about the day 1 DLC. That said, I feel like Bioware and EA have been under a lot of fire from fans in these past few weeks and got to thinking: what if Bioware surprised us by enabling either the character unlocks or leveling from the demo to carry over to the ME:3 release? I feel like this would be a pleasant little treat that might appease some of the angry people out there.
A way to gain some love back for Bioware...If leveling from the demo carried over

Anyone who still rants about day 1 DLC is either completely ignorant to how DLC works these days, and/or is stuck in 2006. Gamers act so entitled these days...

It'd be nice if they let us transfer just one character. Reset everything but I'd really like to have at least one character ready to go in my SP game.

No. I played the demo under that assumption that nothing would carry over. Why would it... its a demo. All of the experimenting with different builds to see what I liked and what I didn't.
No thanks... it took all of two weeks for many people to unlock ALL the "possible" demo races. At that rate it won't take any time at all to do it again.

People complain as though Bioware surprised us with this.
Bioware:"Um, alright, there are a LOT of players with an N7 rank of 120...Should we do it now?"
*Heads are nodded*
Bioware:"Good news, everyone!"
Everyone:"Oh, hi Bioware, just playing your MP demo!"
Bioware:"I hope you're enjoying it, because we are going to KILL ALL YOUR HARDWORK BLARGARGHAHGRH"
That's...not how it happened.

No, I'm almost 120 and am looking forward to re-leveling with all the available unlocks in the packs.
I'd much rather explore the new enemies/maps from scratch rather than having to do them on Gold to get any real challenge out of it right from the get go.

Sorry, but the MP progress is not planned to carry over to the full game.

I can understand the character levels and stuff, but it would be nice if you transferred items/characters over.

Yeah, a small token reward would be nice. 1k credits per N7 level or some rockets or something.
Though I suspect their reasoning is to not encourage 'grinding' the demo and getting sick of it before it's even out.

"hard work"? You can level up so fast, it's not even worth the effort to carry over your whole progress.

yea, although i hope i don't have to wait until level 119 for my quarian, resetting is probably for the best, otherwise you'd get bored faster.

But it was hard work to unlock all the races. It would be nice, if I could keep them.

It was fun unlocking everything. I used to be of the mindset - BIOWARE YOU HEARTLESS FIENDS WHAI U TAKE AWAY DEMO PROGREZZ!?! - Now its more like ''I can do it again. But this time I know where to put stuff
''.

meh.
Some of my builds I'd love to bring over, but there's more that a few that I ruined by putting too many points in useless powers or even gave a stupid name that drives me nuts, so I wouldn't be sad to see them wiped.

I wish I could keep my weapon unlocks (read: Widow & Claymore). Other than that, I don't mind my unlocks getting reset.
Luckily, my best character is the human engineer...so I'm gonna have my RAWRBEESTMOADE character available from day 1 =)

You know you can change character names by going into the "Appearance" option under the Character menu, right?
Lol.

It's ridiculous yo think or suggest that something from a demo or a beta carries over.
And no it would not bring any good will from players, if at all it would ****** off more people and some crap site like Kotaku would have the headline "Bioware forces you to play Demo if you don't want to suck at launch"
