Hello there, I'm just starting a ME2 playthrough to get the best
possible outcome for ME3, but I don't want Admiral Hackett to contact me
(Arrival DLC) until after ive completed the suicide mission. Is there a
way to prevent the DLC from affecting my gameplay, uch as disablling it
somehow or even just uninstalling it somehow (might be the better
option) id appreciate any help you guys could give me.

The only thing I can think of is don't check your emails in the game. Once you do it triggers that story, which for me it spoils the direction of the story though others think otherwise. You don't have to do the mission even if Admiral Hackett contacts you as it's 'just another mission', but the timing feels strange.
If you delete the dlc you run the risk of the game not starting due to 'missing dlc'.
