I used gibbed for this last playthrough of ME2 before ME3 release date. Its the first time I used gibbed, and I have a couple of questions. I wanted it to be a quickish run of ME2, so I gave myself max level and upgrades. However, I gave myself way too many talent points to spend. If I were to use the respec function on the Normandy, save, and extract the file into gibbed, would it be possible to take away the excess skill points? My fear is that these points would carry into ME3 and I don't want to cheat in the new game.
My other question is how many skill points a legit level 30 Shepard will have accquired. I read online that it was 100 when I was setting up the file on gibbed and obviously that turned out to be way too many.
Is it possible to mod AWAY skill points?

51 pts for Level 30 Shepard. And yes you should be able to do this with Gibbed in one of several ways. If you intend to do Retrain Powers first then save all you need to do is edit your points.
