Yesterday, after winning a match on silver, I'm immediately kicked from the lobby. Mind you I had the top score, and yadayadayada...why? lol. I have an N7 rating of 85, while the others were in the 40s and 50s. Today in Bronze, I joined a lobby with a team that were all less than N7 rating of 7, and I was immediately kicked as well. Do we not get all the same points?!?!

tl;dr: why you kick me when i do good?

They might think you'll "steal" all their kills.

Maybe they just don't like you.

What class were you?

I alternated between:

Human Engineer
Asari Adept
Drell Vanguard
Human Soldier

And the only time I was in danger of being kicked was my very first game.

Nah, I was kicked twice today too on silver. (sometimes too frustrating searching for a gold group)
But the first group seemed to have a private match but the stuff was set to public.

I can almost see it. I mistakenly joined a Bronze match at a high level and the other players barely had a chance to do much. I think I tripled the next highest score in part because of it. I wouldn't have kicked you myself, but I can see where it might annoy lower level players.

They might have been trying to play with friends or something.

This happens to me but it's usually when I've selected an Asari Adept.

That must have been idiots. If you do not want an Asari adept you can always ask for a change.

Seeing as I have a Lvl 20 Krogan Soldier, and a level 15 Sal Inf, it would have been smarter for them yes.

For some reason people get upset about "kill stealing". Yes, it can be annoying when someone pops in and drops everything before you can even look at it but you're most likely going to get survivor and full extraction medals when you otherwise wouldn't have. Also, you get more medals by being diverse in your kills. Melee some enemies, grab a few from behind cover if you see the chance. Some gold medals that are worth a good chunk of experience aren't that hard to get if you stop putting so much emphasis on kill counts and head shots.

I somewhat agree with that, Vanguards still annoy me allot thou, trying to set off Combos as a Quarian engineer or a biotic explosion as an adept that can hurt things around the enemy only to have it ruined by a charge happy Vanguard gets... tiring after a while, not hating on Vanguards I just wish they hold back on their charging... especially since I’m having to run and pick them back up after charging around way too much and getting taken down.

I find it funny that people associate a higher N7 level with getting a higher score.

You mean kids still dont know that its irrelevant what your personal scores are? Everything is totaled at the end and everyone gets the same rewards.

Could be all these horrible and/or stupid reasons, or it could just have been 3 friends running together in a public room when another friend jumps online. It happens.

Problem is, if they don't Charge, they have to run around with no shields. I'm sure if you're a team player you prefer an intact team over a combo detonating.

When I'm playing Engineer and have a Van on the team, I just follow them around and chain overload everything in their vicinity. I get 100 assists and she gets 100 kills. Ego has no place in a cooperative multiplayer.

If a team boots you just because you're the second asari adept, they probably aren't going to get past Round 5 anyway.

Now see that I'll 100% admit I did not know, as I have yet to play one I never knew vans don't get sheilds unless they charge.

I've never been in the position of the lower-end teammate, mostly because my class demands that I kill things with efficiency. It could be pretty depressing to just flop around and not score anything because there's a guy in front of you that does everything for you. That being said, this is a co-op TEAMPLAY based game, and you should tolerate other players as they are all a part of the team. This goes both ways. It's not like you get extra XP/cash because you have 70 more kills than the next guy, and it's not like you're useless if all you get is assists.

So you're auomatically assuming it's the N7 rating?   Couldn't be how you played or your name where you call yourself an "elite"?  Btw, I dislike anyone that refers to themselves as an "elite".

Only after using Nova, which transfers all barrier to biotic damage. But maximising efficiency means Vans 95% of the time use Nova and Charge in tandem. Vanguards are a totally different experience in Mass Effect 2 and 3, you should try a few matches with one.

I was kicked today in friggen BRONZE! I was playing a level 10 adept. What the hell is wrong with people? Someone mentioned that they were kicked for playing an adept on bronze level but I thought it was rare or something... geez, people really need to get over themselves. I don't even know for sure why I was kicked and to be honest I don't care because I still played all day with other people and, luckily, there are far more polite people than there are rude little children. Sheesh!
