Twice so far my team has been completely finished with the wave 10 objective on silver, only for the connection to fail for the host, then the game, and kick everyone back out to the starting screen.
That's 20+ minutes, 150000+ points, and 35000+ credits down the toilet.
Please give players the points and credits they have earned if the connection fails.

F the dude in the 2nd post. This has been happening to everyone I know.D/Cs NEVER seem to happen for any of my friend sub wave 5, it's like the game is taunting us. I D/Cd on wave 11 7 times Saturday no matter WHO was hosting. I'm not going to make a snarky post in your thread poking fun of your problem, lets just pray that this doesnt happen when the game comes out.

As long as it's DCed and not a left the game. I'd hate to see people who leave in the middle of a game get anything. If they had something come up I'm sorry but you quit you don't deserve anything or just tell your team and maybe they'll sacrifice themselves so you all get points.

Well yeah I'm not advocating people who quit getting the points they have scored.
Besides, it's not like I would do this but there's a way to quit and still get the points. Just go AFK but stay in the game. That's even worse than leaving because if you leave there's a chance you will get replaced. That's why I'm against extra penalties to people quitting, it would just make it worse.

Then everyone will purposely D/C instead of quitting. As much as I feel your pain, I'd rather lose a few thousand credits then watch people abuse a bit of goodwill.
A better system would be a sort of honor system. Where if you get a reputation as a leaver, then you get no money/xp. As long as you don't quit tons of games, you still get your money if you have the occaisional network hiccup.

Why would they quit at all? They still won't get all the points they would if they had kept playing, plus disconnecting is a hassle compared to quitting (or simply going AFK).

I notice if my host has a good connection than i dont really get disconnected from EA servers and for that I can only connect to my friends, can never get into a quick match for some reason
Also i only get disconnected from EA servers when i get booted from the game, never from my internet connection failing
