People need to remember that videogames are a luxury item. Jacking up the price of bread or milk or any other essential item? That's a slap in the face. A part of an entirely optional entertainment package being withheld for a separate purchase? That's not a slap in the face. At most, it's a shady business practice, but even that's debatable.
People, we're living in an era where we have super computers in our phones and can freely spend $60+ multiple times a year for top-of-the-line entertainment experiences, many of which we'll spend hundreds of hours in, and all of which we don't
need. If you don't want it, don't buy it. But don't use hyperbole to prove the point of "I don't like EA doing this." It belittles the actual issues of the world, most of which the top videogames crusaders are likely ignorant.
Just saying.
