Kelly was killed on the Collectors Ship because I wanted to finish a few more loyalty missions... I felt kind of bad losing her though, she was one of my more favorite crewmen too.
Did I lose much by losing her? I am willing to restart Mass Effect 2, to simply get her back and make a few other minor changes (I am a huge perfectionist about this character I have been developing)
Any help would be appreciated!

First, this is in the wrong section. And im not too sure about kelly making a big impact on the game so you'll just have to wait.

Not really. You can take her back to your cabin and "rock the casbah" with her at the end of the game, if you forge a relationship with her. She also does a naughty little dance for you.
There will also be some dialogue at the end of the game from her that you obviously won't hear if she's dead.
