The real question is why are you using a sniper rifle on gold, using a good heavy pistol is so much better, Phalanx for example.

I outscore infiltrators every game on gold... I hate asari adepts who carry widows... your stasis cd is way too slow.. If you want to snipe carry a viper w/ phalanx.. -160-180% cd if I recall correctly..

Also, the widow can punch through sheilds and light cover [atleast in bronze and silver] and I know for a fact that it can punch through some mobs and hit the one behind it, killing it as well in bronze [the rank and file cerberus troop at least and maybe mobs whos armor/sheilds/barrier have been destroyed]  Also, its a poor mans missile launcher, able to take them out in as little as 4 hits [bronze, if you aim for the canopy]

No it doesn't. You can shoot through cover...if anything it encourages NOT lining up the perfect shot...simply because you don't have to.

Widow on bronze/silver = one shot everything(may require headshot for shielded centurion and nemises) except phantom.

Widow on gold = one shot trooper and guardian, rest require two hits or more. But with cloak+energy drain+widow you can still finish a full barrier+health phantom within 3secs on gold.

You are talking about drain => drain => widow, right?  But widow is not nesessary for that.  A mantis X can do it perfectly fine (no, not headshot, just body).
