I just purchased the Item pack 2, the one for all classes. When I try to run the manual download installer, I get a message telling me that I need to install DA2 first, then try again. I have it installed and have played it. When I try to install it while it's running, it tells me I need to close the program first, then try again. Can anyone tell me how to get it to work so I can use my cool new stuff?! Please and thank you!

Have you tried installing as Administrator? And yes, you can't have the game running while you install it.

I am given no option to run as administrator. When I download, it goes down in to the download bar, like normal. When I open, my little safety thing pops up, like normal. But after that, I get the error message. No options to save, or anything else after.

When you open your file, can you right click on it. If so, that should give you the option ' run as' . Then you could try running as Administrator.

No good. I still get the same error message.

Have you tried rebooting the computer and installing as the first thing you do? Also make sure Origin is closed and EACore is not running in processes.
