Is the Normandy really dark now?
How many rooms does it have compared to ME2?
"Yes. Spooky.
It's still the SR-2, but they've replaced and repurposed the rooms. Mordin's lab has a conference table, the holo-room is a war room, etc."

"Yes, N7 missions are back. Hackett's got you doing a bunch of those.
The Citadel's bigger than ME2, little smaller than ME1."
Great, thanks.
Can you ask him what he generally thinks of the game? What's his biggest disappointments if he has any? Seems the turret section is a sore point.
I also would like to second the Normandy question.
"It's a great game. Better action, really cinematic, incredibly epic. James Varga annoys me, though, and the plot's a bit predictable."

Nice answers!
Ask him if its lively on the Citadel.. if people/aliens walk around etc.
Ask if the mission levels have variety, or its just linear shooting galleries, and if there are puzzles or minigames to break up the gameplay
And ask if there is humor/lighthearted moments and random fun quests, or if its all just dark and gritty
"It's very lively, a lot of dialogue. Sad, though, in parts.
Not really. Mostly just combat.
There's a funny mission about indoctrinated hanar. It's not all doom and gloom!"

-Is the only way to refuel the Normandy to salvage fuel debris?
-What happens if a reaper catches you in the galaxy map?
"No, I don't know where that came from. There are fuel stations, like before.
Haven't had that happen to me yet, I've been careful."

Ask: Does male Shepard have any hair in the CC that's not short? (or that weird emo like style?)
There's a silly mop-top thing, yeah.
