This falling through floors stuff has got to stop !!!! #@!@$%%^&&*()!!!!

Fix the falling through floors bug ( on my kness begging) - it's really getting irritating.

When I could be helping my squadmates out I have been stuck falling through the geography stuck looking at snow capped mountains, or crapping looking containers in the sub basement.

Is it that hard to code a floor?  ME2 suffered because of getting stuck on geaorgaphy as well. Please do not do this to us again. :Posted Image Posted Image

Pretty sure it only happens from laggy vanguard charges. That's the only time it's happened to me.

It's true the demo sometimes can't 'handle' Vanguards' hectic movement...

it happened to me today with a Krogan soldier when i got revived. Vangaurds are not the only ones that fall prey to this

No but I onced charged past the landing pad towards those shuttles flying in the distance. You can't beat that.

Someone's cranky.

Know who else is cranky? People who continuously get stuck on geometry, doomed to forever fall through the map, saved only by the sweet embrace of death by enemies that can apprently shoot you from miles away - only to revive in exactly the same spot, still stuck in the floor, forever repeating the cycle until eventually you must abandon your team to stop dragging them down. Yep. Pretty cranky worthy.

The "well can YOU do better" argument is incredibly cheap. Of course we can't, that's not our field of expertise. But I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that a finished product that we pay for has this bug fixed. Which, if I'm hearing right, it probably will, so hugs and smiles all around.

That's right! Come gimme a big old hug.

It happened to me after the one-hit-kill of the Phantom when standing too close to a wall.

They just need to add a suicide/respawn button if they don't want to fix all the texture holes.

2 weeks from release and people are falling through the floor? LOLPosted ImagePosted Image

This last time its happened was with my engineeer- at least I got to fire off combat drones that managed to attack stuff.
 
Not once has this happened with me playing a vangard because I haven't levelled one yet or when I was near a vanguard. The floors are buggy so it the geometry and should be fixed.


Don't be making exuces for a demo two weeks away from launch - I did not read anywhere this was a beta demo.  Apologists for bad coding should go make your own threads.

Well, to be fair, I've only played with my Vanguard so far - but yeah, the problem for me is almost always whenever I charge an enemy. But once or twice I've just tried to take cover, and suddenly I'm floating two feet above the waist-high bricks. So I'm aware it isn't restricted to Charging.

like someone already said, its a beta buddy, 99.99 percent chance it is fixed in the final version.If it isn't.... pretty good chance it'll be patched on release.

Didn't happen to me but to a teammate. I was trying to rev him/her then suddenly his body becomes a ghost and falls down D:
It'll probably be fixed in full game though since this is just beta.

Its a demo not a beta. The announcement did not state it was a beat demo.

The only problem with that though; when you rez, you rez were you fell. If that's outside the map then you rez outside the map I would guess. I haven't had the issue myself and I don't recall someone saying that they rezzed back on the map.

I think if you died permanently for the round, it would be nice for them to re-spawn you at the beginning/extraction point. Firstly, it would fx the "falling through the map" glitch we're getting (I think; don't claim to know a damn thing about programming), and for everyone else, it just saves them a trip back to a safe point between waves.
