Happened to notice an odd behavior with Origin after setting it to offline mode. If you put your PC to sleep Origin will automatically reconnect to the servers after reawakening the PC. In other words - the settings are not maintained. This is bothersome as I only want Origin to connect to verify the game and then get locked down and only go online when I deem it necessary. Can anyone else test if this happens?

Easiest way is to leave Origin open on desktop then: Select offline mode > Put PC to sleep > Wake PC > Watch Origin reconnect to servers.

After reading Mr. Hudson's quip about it never needing to be online after initial verification this seems like odd behavior.

Origin doesn't maintain states, it starts in online if it knows you have internet. annoying but I just personally firewall block it and remove the rule when it suits me
