I hate them cause theire so THIN, impossible to hit with mah geth plasma rifle. They need to eat more and grow fat. Fat phantom easier to hit...

Salarian infiltrator works better with graal. :)

They really not that OP. Because they have health they are vulnerable to Stasis and once their barrier is down other biotic controls. Most of the mini-boss types don't have that weakness.

Getting two shotted while in stealth with max fitness by the range attacks is seriously annoying though.

The Graal is ok with the Infiltrator, I prefer the Claymore. A level X Graal gives your Krogan Soldier a 190% recharge bonus. He was made for it.

Agreed, but they are fun. And actually make people crap their pants :P

Indeed they are a challenge, but I just got done with the most insane Silver match ever. The last 3 rounds had like 4 or more Atlases (not kidding) and 2-4 Phantoms each. At least Atlases are slow, though, and can be knocked back a bit by Concussive Shots and Frag Grenades and the like, but Phantoms just do whatever the hell they want.

How we managed to finish that game is astounding.

So why do you want them nerfed?  The challenge of beating that game wasnt rewarding?

Graal is not ok, it is awesome. Claymore doesn't shoot 3 times, 2 of which are stealthed.

I prefer the somple OSOK power of the Claymore on the Infiltrator but yes the Graal is very good on him as well.

Quite sure that in objective rounds, enemies keep respawning until you finish the task, so focus on the objective instead of taking out the big guns which will just respawn, if it's an option anyway.

Easy to take them down with the Infiltrator. Salarian at least. Cloak, Energy Drain, headshot while they're in cover.

That only works if you can use one power while cloaked, though.

3 stars, I agree that on Bronze against those sort ofplayers they should be less challenging.
However on gold they are just right and provide a challenge, if they get nerfed then Cerberus would replace Geth as the easiest faction.

It's the only enemy that will make almost everyone yell in their mic's. That....in my book, is a good enemy :P

Phantoms stumble. You have to kill their barrier first.

Throw a ton of stasis bubbles at it and whittle away at the phantom. Its not that hard.

You can stagger them. Charge is particularly effective. Wouldn't know about Concussive Shot though.

Doesn't always stagger them, and you will occasionally get instant-killed.

Stupidest thing in the game.  You can fight 20 of them the exact same way, 19 will be obliterated, and 1 will knock you out completely.

Not OP. They are dangerous foes, that usually require combined efforts from multiple players, but not OP. Be careful with your movement, use your electrical/Stasis/stun/stagger abilities, and nuke. They actually have very poor barriers and health, and when they lose half their barriers in a single salvo from my team, they usually go down pretty quick after that.

why is it shocking in a cooperative game that there are enemies you'll require team assistance on?

They're not overpowered merely challenging, I've soloed 2 phantoms on silver last night with 15 rank sentinel. Biotic explosions are great for self esteem. Warp, 1 round burst from vindicator on cooldown, apply 1 adult dose of throw= 1 severely disappoint phantom missing a barrier. Reapply the and fi d yourself one freshly deceased phantom. For soldier disruptor or warp ammo a distraction frag and adrenline burst will find the same result.

Nevermind an asari adept with stasis bubble and max warp stops most everything without armor protecting. Phantom are nothing, banshees howevermake me wish to be anywhere else. Barrier, armor, faux teleport, and psychic blast worthy of dragonball z, will ruin your day if you cant get any teamwork going.

If they were OP then Cerberus on Gold would not be possible. Finished and partial extracted a Cerberus/Gold mission last night with randoms. There were like 12-15 phantoms during the extraction, at least, no joke. They are crazy hard, but can be defeated. Also, the partial extraction was because I was insta-killed by a phantom as soon as I stood up, lol. Still though, not OP, just challenging.

Even on silver, banshees are laughable if you're an asari adept. Its amazing how quick they drop if you keep lobbing warps and throws at them.

I find at times that the Phantoms can sneak up on your group and kill 3 of you without even noticing. Happened a few times on Silver to me while we were distracted by an Atlas. I suppose we could play a little better though.

However once you've recognized them they aren't too bad.

I rather hate their long-range instant-hit that destroys my shields. At least Banshees are easy to see, hear, and don't attack from long long range. Their mind-bullet is idiotic - I can roll to the side and still be hit with it, but if I toss throw at them it can take three attempts for it to hit once.
