Used to be with Gibbed's Editor I could find my character face code under the RAW tab, but now that field is simply just blank in the save file.
It is an imported Shepard from an Mass Effect 1 game, there should be a code but theres not.
I'm on PC and theres no Identity Code shown over the head of my Shepard in the Squad screen so I'm coming up blank on how to get this data now.
I tried re-importing it and accepting the imported face but that doesn't at any step in the creation process allow me to enter a face code or even see my imported face code.
Anyone got a work around for this at all?

I've been trying to find the code for my imported character too. The mass effect wiki says that even if it's imported that the code should be on the squad screen but it's not... Did they take the feature out for imported characters? I really just want to change one little thing about my character, the hair colour, and I do not want to recreate the whole face just for that.

I would also like to know how to find the face code I created in Mass Effect 1. I imported the character into Mass Effect 2 so I have the same problem and can't find it with the save game editor. I also don't see it on the squad screen either.

You can figure out what the face code is on your ME1 import by using the guide found here. It is time-consuming, and I've run into some issues with elements not appearing to carry over into ME2 (try as I might I cannot find the nose I chose in ME1.) Mass Effect 2 Faces also has some tutorials/options that may help.
There is no face code for ME1 character imports and there never has been. I read over the description on the Wiki and found it ambigious. If you create a character in ME2, you will receive a face code. You can then import that face code back into the game with either an import game (changing what you ME1 character looks like) or another new game.
Since you are just trying to change your hair color, you can figure out the color string and modify it with the Gibbed save editor. Use the guide I posted above to determine what you need to change.
