This morning, I went to bed at 6 a.m. as I was finishing my 7 hour long third playthrough of ME1 on Veteran, creating a renegade femshep with no regard to sidequests. Hell, I even left Wrex at the Citadel.

In my speed run I was on Virmire, talking to Sovereign when he told me "We are the pinnacle of evolution." This got me thinking, what if the Reapers are just doing us a favour, and are trying to start another stage of evolution?

I forget where I had seen this, but somebody/something said that a Reaper is a collection of not just the genetics of a race, but the collective minds of the individuals of that race. This seems to be similar to the geth, but on a much larger scale. Also, if you look at the 'Virtual Alien' stories on what I believe was the Cerberus news, inside the ship's computer is a world of its own.

What I am saying is that maybe the Reapers do this every 50,000 years to make sure that a race is responsible enough to be given a body for out in space, and that inside the Reaper there is a world of the race's making. Maybe the only way for this to work is that the Reapers must forcefully harvest the civilization. Maybe the Reapers themselves somehow connect to civilization outside the galaxy.

Maybe Commander Shepard notices this and can side with the reapers, making millions of fans angry. (JK)

If this is one of the possible endings, sorry Bioware, I have no idea what happens in the end, I'm just smart, lol.
