Besides, knowing quarian morphology is seeable on space-internet, it would be strange to see humans (cause Shepard isn't the only one trying in ME2) trying to go out with quarians if they were ugly.

 I can confirm that you DO see Tali's face in Mass Effect 3.

After you complete her romance subplot she gives you a present; a picture of herself without her mask.

I knew the answer was yes, but I didn't know it was just a picture, hopefully it actually shows her face and not shepard just looking at it again...  (cough ME2 cough). Either way, I will respect Biowares final choice in the decision.

(edit)...! Wait so you have the strategy guide!?!?! Do they actually show it in there or just talk about it?

I think I prefer to imagine it myself. And this is coming from someone who loves Tali. I think making her a disfigured alien wouldn't work. But I also believe that turning her into a sexed-up human wouldn't be very true to the character either. A drop dead gorgeous bikini model underneath that mask wouldn't feel like Tali.

Plus, I already have an idea of what I think she looks like, and that works just fine for me.

As far as I'm concerned the mystery is a part of the Quarian so I hope we don't see their face in that game either. It's a recipe for disappointment and angry players anyway.

I've seen Rannoch (the quarian homeworld) in the Mass Effect Universe artbook. It is not as beautiful as you might think. It's a lot like Tuchanka. It's a red planet, mostly a desert, with a lot of high-tech buildings and infrastructure.

In fact, without realizing it, all of us have already seen Rannoch.

Remember the footage with the "Reaper base" and Shepard shooting a giant Reaper walker with a big mounted gun on rails? That's Rannoch, the quarian homeworld.

Really... mmhm, mayhap it has just been wiped of fauna and flora due to its current owners being machines...

I like Tali cos she is one of the most interesting characters in the series, as I read somewhere Tali is also interesting because a player really get to know her as a character rather than seeing another LI (Miranda for example) and saying... yep

Maybe during the conversation before the romance scene there could be a paragon option to remove it if you want to, and if you don't then don't do anything.

Body Chemistry means nothing, Asari, Krogan, both are Levo. Such as a Human is.

Think about it, the masks quarian wear only fits a human shaped head.

The second from the left is my favorite. The first and last one look too human, and the rest look way too alien.

But then again, as others speculated... those may be ME1 face concepts that never saw the light of day.

They did a great job making Thane into estrogen brigade bait... I'll have faith they'll do Tali right too...

I hope we actually get to see her take off her helmet instead of just seeing her face as a picture
