How about you play the game before you start assuming. People hated DA2 also, I actualy liked it quite a bit. Sure it had it's flaws, but they were nothing I couldn't stand.
If you don't like their products, then yeah don't buy them. I still think they are doing a good job.

2.15 million reported retail copies. VGChartz only tracks physical media from retail outlets that report numbers to them. They do not track digital distribution. And they won't have full global distribution numbers as there are multiple global retailers that do not report any data to them. And they have none of the numbers from Origin on SWTOR.
2.15 million copies is a lot of boxes retail alone. I would estimate, in the extreme low end scenario, there is probably an additional 1 million digital distributions unaccounted for globally. So in an extremely low end estimate you're looking at 3.15 million box sales. With a potential retention rate of around 50% thats still 1.7 million subscribers/ You must be one of those people that think WoW has had 11 million subscribers since November of 2004 or something.
Anyways you can ignore the upper two paragraphs cause they don't really mean anything cause at the end of the day you'll believe whatever you want to believe and thats all good.
Ray and Greg seem pretty happy with where they are right now, pretty sure they know a lot more about the situation at BioWare than anyone slopping their angst out here on the Social Network.

Im just wondering what new franchise Bioware will come up with.
After all ME3 is the last of the series, and they killed dragon age themselves with that abysmal sequel.
I'm hoping they pick up KOTOR 3 as a project. I can only imagine what they can do with a more RPG and combat centered game (much different then a MMO focused game) with modern technology..
I hope Obsidian does. Obsidian did a far better job with Kotor than Bioware.

I could have enjoyed the game more hadn't it been for Hawke. He is seriously the worst protagonist that I've played.

DS 3 was fine, great story for a dungeons hack. But it was also a relatively "simple" game. I'd have to see something similar in design to AP before I could say I'm fully confident. LOVED FO3:NV though despite the issues.

I've heard some good things about Alpha Protocol, I do want to give that a try someday. I enjoyed what I played of FO: NV but I couldn't get into it too much. The 5 year old graphics kind of took me out of the experience so I couldn't finish it.BobSmith101 wrote...
Obsidian need to shake that rep for buggy titles. There is a lot of good stuff in Obsidian games. But you have to put with a lot to discover it.

That shows is that KOTOR is bleeding players badly.
No one is going to say "My product is a fail" lol
DA2 deserves what it gets. If it was good enough, it would at least have more supporters to detract from the people that dislike it.jreezy wrote...

So true. They won't even merge servers because of negative attention I bet. The "story" that Bioware was trying to do with Old Republic is NO enough or even good enough to make players forget that there is no content. Yes I said no content. Say what you will about WoW and its crap load of content Vanilla WoW took MONTHS to get to level 60 and this was their saving grace. Because it took months to get to 50 and even it took even more time to gear 40 people for raids players were busy. I managed to get to 50 really fast during my vacation. It's surprising how little to no grind there is. I never have to work for anything its just handed to me. With out the grind people reached the cap too fast and now they are bored with nothing to do.

Or it's just another case of bandwagon syndrome. Just like how everyone is praising Skyrim and hardly anyone is negative... when there are a lot of negative things about it, but hey opinions are fun.

I played him like this guy who doesn't take anything seriously. It was pretty fantastic. Also what's great about DA2 is that you can't always win.

Really not... Anyone who half asses it with one map of each area and then does not even have the sense to edit the mini map really do deserve what they get.
As does anyone who only reveals a feature that they would have known about for months is missing the night before launch.
