Is it just me, or does it seem like Bioware re-designed Ashley for the sole purpose of making Shepard regret cheating on her with the other women in Mass Effect 2?

I've tried to put ME3's Ashley's hair up in a bun in my mind to see if she looks like the Ashley from ME1 and ME2 and each time I've concluded that Ashley ME1-2 and Ashley ME3 look like two different people.

Bioware did admit that they did this for sex appeal.
Frankly I still find the whole thing degrading. But what's done is done I suppose.
As side note, by this point even I'm sick of this topic. If only because I still want to be happy and excited about Mass Effect 3 and not be reminded of the bitterness surrounding this game's release.

Anyways, I must control myself and not stay with Miranda or it will be like:

Cheated on Liara for Miranda
Cheated on Miranda for Ashley

That makes my shepard look kind of like a jerk.

Umm... If you want to look at it that way.

I still think Miranda is more attractive though, and has a more interesting character. Thus, I'm staying loyal to Miranda in ME3.

I have. But perhaps your implication that I lack visual observational skills is true. I don't think that's the case though.

You have so much faith in me as a human being. I am beyond direction or help.
