Sorry but this one still annoys me. Yes I will grant you that Ashley does have issues relating towards aliens. I may even if I'm feeling generous grant you that she can be mildly xenophobic from time to time but the crazt neo n*zi alien hating baby eating monster spawn that people keep seeing with Ashley is only the product of their own delusional fantasies.
Fact is, owing to her family history there are still tensions on a personal level towards aliens and her generally hostile attitude enhances some of that aspects. She's cautious and nervous about working with aliens for the first time as she hasn't had any real experience with them prior to this. Plus she does still say and do a lot over the course of the game to throw away the idea that she's some kind of crazy alien hating Hitler youth and more importantly over the course of the story and with the right encouragement she learns to put aside her past prejudices and even overcome them.
Back in the day we would call this process 'character development'.
and when I go I know I'll go with GAWWWD
Ergh. Yes, Ashley believes in god. Probably because it's easier for her to deal with loss by imagining that the people she loved are in the afterlife now. Ashley is an emotional woman and so it's not really surprising that she's also spiritual. Again though she only mentions this aspect once in the entire game and doesn't try to convert you or force you into her line of thinking.
She just says 'I believe in god'. Frankly if you have a problem with that it says more about you then her.

Ashley has hispanic origins. It makes no effing sense for her to say 'yeehaaaaaa'. At least get your stereotypes right.
