I just find it sad, that people are suddenly interested in her only because she got more sexy look. I mean it´s like "She´s hot! I´m in! Who needs personality..."

She would need a personality for that to work.
At least now I can say something positive about her.

Well...yea honestly I never cared for her in Mass Effect 1. I didn't have an opinion on her at least with Jack I had an emotion I hated her Ashley couldn't even make me hate her.

I love fanservice!

Sure it cheapens some the experience in some peoples eyes, but enriches to others.

It's not like shes running around in straps covering her nipples like Jack did.

I didn't get a "we did this for sex appeal" vibe from that attire.

Me neither, which is so mindbogglingly counterintuitive. I mean, the woman wears only a nipple belt from the waist up but I never got that feeling.

It makes no sense! But it does. But it doesn't! But for some reason it works.

So much complaining for a hairdo.
I changed my hairdo 6 times in the past 3 years. I have been from very long, to long-ish, to very short right now.
If you do not have to follow dress rules, you'll naturaly look for what makes you look best. Nothing wrong with that.
And Ashley is the EXACT same model with a different hairdo and make up. But the rest is absolutly identical (see the comparaison I made on page 4 of this topic).

There is no cheapening of any experience. It doesn't make her look cheap. She is fully clothed, her make up isn't heavy either. She just  takes better care of her looks now that she is not in the military.
I'm more worried about people being actually shocked by this.
