Okay so back when I was in lvl 30s I got Asari Adept and as I maxed her out I realized how ridiculous her ability is!! You can literally spam it trapping up to 5 enemies and head shot them while eating a sandwich. I see other adept Asari all the time who chose a second option to maxing out Stasis and it's just so pathetic comparing to Bubble.
Using this over and over its pretty much a free ride for the teammates aswell.
I was able to max her out in 4 hours using this.

Might be the most overpowered multiplayer ability yet,any thoughts?

You are correct, OP.

It might not be as ridiculous against other enemies, though.

It is hilariously overpowered... but oh so fun. Almost torn to suggest it should be toned down somehow, but frankly it needs to be.

yes. Phantoms? No sweat. Guardian + Centurion squads? Don't worry. Asari adept owns every organic life form in me3 coop multi.

Stasis is very powerful, but after seeing certain powers like cryo, energy drain, and overload fully upgraded, I don't think Stasis bubble is leagues better than them... it really depends on the situation and enemy type. Also, since most of us Asari Adepts are just carrying a pistol for high recharge, we should get more powerful attacks. However, I went for extra damage rather than bubble, since it fits my play style better. I might go bubble in the full game with Asari Vanguard, but I think extra damage is better... it just takes a couple more seconds to set it up to cause an explosion that hurts and freezes everyone nearby, which bubble doesn't do.

I am fairly certain in the full game the ability to kill enemies while they are helpless in stasis will no longer be an option. Similar to ME2, it will likely be a way to get a breather for a few seconds, nothing more.

An ability being good doesn't automatically make it overpowered.  It might need to be rebalanced but overpowered is a bit of a stretch.

You know, I keep forgetting there will be at least two other types of enemies in the final game: Reaper indoctrinated, and geth. I'm going to withdraw my comment on Stasis being overpowered until I see how it performs in the release version.

...though I'm inclined to think it will be basically the same story.

Nope... when you're upgrading the power you can change the percentage of damage a frozen enemy takes. They wouldn't put that in the skill tree if it weren't part of the game. They also wouldn't put it in the demo if it weren't a part of the game. Not to mention, biotic explosions are pretty fundamental.

Stasis bubble is the SECOND most powerful ability.

Energy Drain takes first, and Cloak takes third. Seriously.

Don't get me wrong, Stasis Bubble is ridiculously powerful. The ability to lock down any non-mech in the game, with an AOE attack that persists, no less, is ridiculously good. My asari has had countless encounters with phantoms where she just simply locks it down and kills it, then goes back to what she was doing. BUT, you can only have one bubble up at a time, and it doesn't increase your survivability if you get jumped or caught out by yourself.

Energy Drain is like a slightly weaker overload, except that as long as you hit a mechanical/shielded/barrier target, IT FULLY RESTORES YOUR SHIELDS. Fired from a +damage cloak, it strips Phantoms of their shields on GOLD. While healing you. Yeah.

Cloak lets you run away, revive teammates, and do objectives with impunity. Oh and it gives you a +90% damage buff when you break it. Which you can do every three seconds.

In other words, yeah, Asari Adepts are bonkers. But they have SERIOUS competition coming in from the Salarian Infiltrators.

When BW makes a patch for ME3. I hope they don't make a patch to nerf this move.

CQC Infiltrators are ultimate crazy sick nuts tech winsauce. Kind of like your own playable phantom.

cryo? seriously? not effective against protected enemy, takes time to reach the target, can be dodged. Seriously I can confidently say for sure i can take 3 phantoms as an Asari adept with pistol but I wouldn't be so sure If i were a quarian engineer even with  the tech burst combo maxed out. Phantoms just don't get frozen when they have barrier on.

I was talking about enemies in general, not partially phantoms. I have a friend who has it fully upgraded and he wrecks just about everything. Also, flamethrower turrets if used correctly can kill most things quickly, including phantoms.

I'm thinking the same thing, but I'm not worried about it since I like Warp as well as Warp + Throw, which should work on them fine.
