Alien invasion... perfect time to smash shop windows. Can't run away from the Reapers if you don't have 30 pairs of Jordans.

You can see was stealing what appears to be canned goods, which is actually smart.

There's a difference between wanting to visit Earth, and having the whole bloody galaxy depend upon it's very survival. I myself would have liked to have visited Earth, but to make it priority number over every single planet is taking the "can we see Earth?" a little too far.

One thing I learned after being a stuck up wierdo for the Halo 3 trailers awhile back.

Stop worrying how some trailers look like or how they don't look a lot like the game or how they don't show any aliens because normal tv watchers wouldn't have a clue.

And really just sit back and enjoy.

I loved the trailer and it sealed the deal for some of my friends who I been trying to get to buy the series to buy it so...Bioware you got 3 more fans!

the news at the weeping family scene say: The attack began at the following hours. The victims around the world.. (I can't understand what follows because of the music)

Anyone else catch the Tupari drink ad in the one scene? Also, the news footage on the TV is the first "London" trailer. Re-watching again to see what else I can spot.

Nice catch! That was one :)  There are quite a few that were in the Asian Market, so you kinda need to read Chinese to see them.

I'm hoping to post a few in a little bit.  A few interesting tidbits from the production company:

· We were in constant communication with BioWare devs before and during the shoot; I had 15 gigs worth of reference assets on set.
· The Valkyrie rifle use in the shoot was made using the same molds designed by Harrison Krix at Volpin Props (who also made our replica for last summer's shows - it is the Gamestop preorder gun as well)
· Numerous props scattered throughout the shots are items you see within the Mass Effect world – explosive cannisters, power cells, crates, etc.

Did anyone else notice the Boobies at 0:18? I would post the picture but I don't wanna get banned. Just look closely at the rack on the left, second shelf. Does this mean naughty romance scenes? I hope so.

Because saying save Illium! is a good way to advertise. /sarcasm

You people do realize advertisements are for people who have no clue about the game right? People like you are already sold.

I love people who literally wait for hours for some trailer of game they are buying and say its bad. IT ISN'T FOR YOU! Its for the audience that has no clue what Mass Effect is.

Liked the trailer, except for the shepard part that felt a bit silly.

When you create a universe, when you develop all these different races, when you give them all a unique identity, your gona anticipate that maybe, just maybe, they might be worth fighting for just as much as us. That's not what I'm seeing here. All these trailers and all these interviews all seem to focus on one thing. Humans vs. Aliens.

That's because in times of crysis, the most natural response is to look after your own first. Even if Thessia or Pallaven is being invaded, we can not spare help while Earth is under attack.
And Mass Effect has always been extremely human centric. It is normal considering all the buyers are, in fact, human.
From becoming a Spectre to the final decision, ME1 was about carving a role for humans in the galaxy.
ME2 was even more obviously so since Shepard's focus was on saving the human colonies and, on ME3, Shepard's focus appear to be on retaking Earth.
If you are more interested in the aliens, you might have picked the wrong game.

Again, I don't mind the idea of saving Earth. I really don't. It's just that.... I've saved Earth so many times in so many other games. And Earth in Mass Effect was never really an important element in the previous two games. Humanity and it's role in the galaxy was important. Earth is just a place of origin. We have other worlds colonized by humans, we have well established and prosperous world run by humans, and we have many planets inahbited by both humans AND other races.

Humanity's role in the galaxy is directly tied to Earth's fate. Earth is the homeworld, it is where there is the highest concentration of humans. It is the center of our economy.
If we lose Earth, that is it. We might survive the Reaper invasion but the other species will eat us alive afterwards.

Also, I do not believe that a planet that is inabhited by both humans and other races is, automatically, more important than one where there are only humans.

But it all boils down to is this. The massive marketing campaign is choosing to ignore the very elements that make Mass Effect unique. It's alien characters. Even with the criticisms I had with Mass Effect 2 in having humanity be the main focus threat wise (REAPERS = WHOLE GALAXY), it did let you know that aliens were there all the way, and they were awesome looking. Here, just the invaders invading a human only world and that's important because....

I DON'T CARE. Earth doesn't make Mass Effect unique or interesting.

First of all, if the aliens are what makes the ME interesting to you, that's fine. But don't assume that it is the same for everyone else. There are aliens in other franchises as well. Some of us might not care if the galaxy survives if our species is extincted or diminished.

Second, it is natural. These trailers are only partially meant to appeal to fans like you and me. Mostly, they are meant to attract the average gamer. Earth, along with the famous building that have been shown like the Big Ben or the Sistine chapel, is not only recognizable but also something everyone can indentify with.
Showying the Citadel being destroyed would not have the same impact.

Not bad but I'm hoping for a final game play trailer.

Watching this live action trailer makes it feel like an awesome summer movie.

Not as awesome as the "Take Earth Back" trailer, but awesome nonetheless.

Man, the anticipation for the game is killing me. I feel totally drained. I could really go for a Tupari Energy Drink right now! Image IPB

EDIT: Seriously, when are the TV ads gonna start up? Anxious to see this some of this stuff on my big screen.

You know, here in New York, it's not all too uncommon for people travel in horse carriages, especially at central park. It probably is the same with some other cities

There is still going to be an in-game launch trailer.

So I have a bunch of behind-the-scenes shots I will put together into a post tomorrow morning for those of you who might be interested!

Eh, there's like one in Chicago around Michigan Ave, and that I thought was part of a wedding package or something.  NYC is the only metropolitan city where I've seen a horse drawn carriage downtown for the heck of being able to ride in a carriage.

The full trailer, besides Shepard's acting, is pretty cool (if the one on bioware's youtube is the full trailer).
Too bad that every time I watch a ME3 youtube video is spammed negative comments left and right.

Anyways, good job bioware on this trailer.

This looks pretty bad compared to the Skyrim live action trailer.

I mean, it was fine until they tacked on that ending, live action to animated just didn't work well.

Kidding right? Not saying this live trailer is anything special but the Skyrim's one was just terrible, at least they tried to make this live trailer look like something from the actual game. From teh Skyrim's one seems like just some generic fantasy. While this one has Reapers in the background, cannibals, omni-blades, but nothing like that in the Skyrim one.
