So, who the hell is that guy?? He moves like a sissy and why is he fighting alone?? Is it a metaphor for the gay romance option in ME3?? It's quite good TBH. It gives you another perspective on the War with Reapers, not just Shepard's, making it more realistic. Good idea BIOWARE, but I would replace the gay soldier with more soldiers acting like soldiers.

I didn't check earlier in this thread so sorry if this has already been posted, but I've tried to translate some of the Chinese signs:

穆勒 (mule or mulei) is the transliteration of a bunch of English names (Muller, Mueller, Moule, etc). No idea what links it to Mass Effect!

拱廊 is an arcade (old school gaming?)

From earlier in the thread, the other one is "凯西的得力“ （Kaixi de deli) Casey's Deli. 

One of the signs in the market scene is "光与影图片" ('Light and shadow pictures', perhaps a reference to the paragon/renegade system?) 

The resolution makes it really hard to make out the writing on some of the smaller signs, so there could be heaps of things there.

It's so awful crap. Firstly you can't do live action without Mark Vanderloo Secondly, the church and priests ect? What the hell was up with that? In ME1 you basically laugh Ashley (RIP) out of the room for believing in god acting like she's on loony pills or something. So I just assumed there wasn't much religion left in the ME universe...

As far as Live Action trailers go, I thought it was pretty good. Nothing egregious to say about it, really. The acting was good, the sets were spot on, the CGI was pretty slick... don't know what's to complain about. Of course, it's nothing compared to the Deus Ex Live Action trailer. That Purity First trailer was the best LA trailer I've ever seen in my life.

Yeah, i'm kind of thinking it's something you've got to do exceptionaly or not at all, like that DE trailer, I'm not sure this trailer was really worth it, and aside from a prop here and there the art direction is too different from normal Mass-Effect,

Cinematography and CGI is okay, it just seems outside the normal ME context, too action-movie.

 
This Unnoficial HL live-action sequence did a good job of keeping the artistry like the game, but then it's not set in the future and any run-down industrial areas do the job well.. =P

When this was first leaked a few weeks ago I had hoped they'd got rid of the parts with Gumby in N7 armour chasing Pokey across a battlefield - but alas.

It just missed the mark - a big of tightening on the bits with Shep so it masks the awkwardness, the wording of the voice over was a bit too ham flavoured for my taste - and bring back the slow mo of the blonde kid being dragged along - she had the best acting of anyone in the video. Dude before her literally stops and smells his breath.
