Do any of you guys still have your first ever Shep? I do  If you do, what nooby things did you miss on your first playthrough of both games, or were there any stupid decisions you made because you were so caught up in the epicness of playing Mass Effect for the first time?

ME1
I killed Ashley first time through (Bros before hoes)
Let the council die
Didn't romance anybody because I didn't make the right conversation options

ME2

I had a few people die in the final mission because I did'nt know you could get everyone to survive. So I picked people I wasn't bothered about losing 

I lost - Kasumi, Samara and Zaeed

My "Noob" Shepard consisted of:

ME1:
- Killing Wrex on Virmire. (Had no choice, hadn't received his family armor yet or had high enough charm/intimidate. I reloaded to a save several times before that conversation but I still couldn't save him.)
- Wiped out almost all the colonists on Feros. (First grenade i threw still had the high explosive mod attached (Opps ) and then i ran out of Grenades quickly so i just proceeded to gun down everyone else.)

ME2:
- Mordin died. (When deciding to send someone through the vents, i selected Mordin, despite knowing that Tali would definetly be able to do it because i thought i would need her for something else and that I was deciding everyones roles for the entire SM right then and there.)
- Edit: Normandy crew died. (I got the Reaper IFF and Legion fairly early and by the time my crew was abducted, I still had to finish some side missions, a couple of loyalty missions and even recruit Samara and do her loyalty mission)

Thats all i can think of, for now.

Haha, nope. I don't have noob Sheps, but this one was kinda funny, good read.

Only time I botched was in ME2, being too late to the party and half of my crew got turned to paste. So I replayed the game and fixed my error (NOBODY TOLD ME OF SOME STUPID TIME LIMIT IN REAPER IFF!!!! FFFFFFFF..  )

I didn't even remember that one! Yeah I killed alot of them aswell. Not because I didn't attatch the mod though, just because my aim was so damn bad

Yes, my female soldier. She's still there, and is my only option if I want to play as a soldier Femshep. That's how I set it up, I've been making a male and female version of every class, and she's the older sibling to the far younger male soldier I made recently, and she'll never be replaced with another female soldier. I set her up really well, and actually somehow has more points used then my other characters, probably on account of me almost never putting charm or intimation points in, making me gets nearly a dozen points extra future characters don't get thanks to new game+'s giving you free points to those areas.

She's the least attractive though, on account of only spending about an hour on her, and my future characters are ripped off from really well done ME2faces.com codes or defaults (for males).

i have just one shep my in ME1 around 300Hours and in ME2 150hours.
the only noob thing i did was letting the counsil die on my firsr run.

I have my noob Shepard

Virmire choice: saved Kaidan thinking I could also save Ashley, didn't realize  I had to sacrifice someone  (I realoaded my save to save Ashley)

Saren's suicide: not a error, but I was so anxious to see what the hell the game will throw at me and......Saren shoots himself in the head 0_____0

the Council: focus and Sovereign (I changed after for metagaming purposes)

ME2:

Tali dead in the suicide mission "don't worry commander I can take care of the first fireteam even if you sided with Jack, no problem".....boom headshot !
Reloaded thinking Tali was a wrong choice and put Legion, but no it was Miranda's fault

And the first try my crew died because I did the Derelict reaper right after the Collector ship

My first Shepard ever.. Maybe somewhere on my 360 which I haven't touched in years. Maybe.
I started Mass Effect when it was reasonably new on the 360 when I borrowed a copy from a friend so all my first Shepards were on that.. When it was out on PC I wasn't exactly new to the game anymore.

As for the choices I had in there.. Not too different from what I have in my current 'canon' Shepard except for the fact that I killed off Kaidan (Since I used Ashley as my tank and never used Kaidan) which nowadays I don't do and leave him around because I prefer him. Saved the council, saved the Rachni Queen, romanced Liara.. Which is also I don't have on my canon one (Since I prefer Tali).

ME2.. Jacob died cause he volunteered to die in the vents. Zaeed despite being disloyal survived for some reason (I was trying to get him killed because I had a feeling he'd sell me out to TIM if he gets offered more creds)

She's dead and buried. No one needs to deal with that specific Shepard.

The only difference between my first Shep and my perfect canon shep was the Rachni decision. I killed her at first but on subsequent playthroughs I thought hard about it and decided that sparing her seemed right. Everyone survived the suicide mission on my first playthrough of ME2. Go figure.

ME1: Wanted to be renegade, but was sort of renegon

Wrex died; vowed never to let that happen again

Council died; and no one important died that day

Saved Rachni only cause I did Virmire before Noveria and saw and Allie to make.

ME2: Did everything and I mean everything right except I sent Thane into the vents; Still haunted to this day by it as I did not mean to do that.

i understand you guys wanting to replay a lot to get all the different outcomes etc but i prefer to live through it once like real life. i also pick the choices that i would in real life - i haven't played exclusively as a paragon or renegade.

Kind of wish I still had my older imperfect saves tbh, it just makes the story better.

My ME2 save I lost Mordin and Zaeed.

You could have killed him in the loyality mission.

My ME1 shep did quite well. I used him for quite some time.

Noob ME2 shep did not. Reegar is dead.

Hell yeah. Vanguard Femshep, she's going to be my very first Shepard to finish ME3. Noob things I've done: released the Rachni Queen without knowing anything about the Rachni Wars and the gravity of the situation (granted, that wouldn't have changed my decision, but it's still embarrassing), didn't download Zaeed for some reason, even though I had the dlc. Spoiled the SM for myself, so nobody died there. Oh, and I think some respeccing will be in order, because I somehow managed to complete ME2 without charging once, and am pretty sure I put no skill points in it at all... some Vanguard I was, lol.

My original Shep died in a harddrive crash last year, so did 4 other Sheps :')

Your harddrive is working for the reapers. cerberus can't help your sheps now.

Which is why I have all my saves on a flashdrive, just in case.
