But aren't you interested to see what happens if, for example, Mordin is dead? I mean, he probably plays a pretty important role in the mission on the Salarian homeworld, so that has to be solved some way even if he's dead.
That's exactly why I did a 'kill (almost) everyone' playthrough.

I'm always varying my playthrough. Currently I need to finish my pro-cerberus Shepard in ME2 and I'm going to sell Legion, kill off all the aliens and keep Grunt locked up in the tank. I wonder what'll happen to him...

All mine survive...no matter what I think of a character, I can't bring myself to kill them, just can't do it.

I killed people intentionally on accident. Let me explain I wanted people to die but I didnt really care who, with the exception of Miranda (I wanted her to live). The first two times I played ME2 I saved everyone in the suicide mission. The third time I played I wanted people to die. I personally believe the end is better if you lose people, it feels more real.

No I've had literally 6 playthroughs of the two games and I don't ever intentionally kill squadmembers. I look at it like when Wrex died in one you think him being dead would have a real impact but it kinda didn't and I doubt Mordin not being there on the Salarian homeworld would somehow stop you from saving the female Krogan.

I'm having a hard time going through with my plans to kill anyone, honestly. So right now I'm hoping that the 'Numerous' deaths option from the demo is available for a New Character in ME3. Hopefully it offs a good portion of the squad, so I can just reap the benefits.

Miranda. Every.Time. Except once. Ive killed off Jacob a few times. He volunteered! And Samara/Morinth.

I did have Kasumi randomly die on a playthrough while having all loyalties, and not using her at all, so that was fun.

Usually Tali...which means that I only have her alive in 3 out of 14 playthroughs. It's just too goddamn easy. It's like dangling a funpack of Mars bars in front of a seven year old kid who hasn't tasted candy in 3 months. You just can't resist. Also, I was all like "Okay Jack, since you don't want Miranda leading, YOU lead." "Whatever." After Tali gets her head blown off..."Jack, you suck. Garrus, lead the team, and PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE don't get them killed like your squad on Omega."

P.S. I like Jack; I never once killed her off. Also,

Although I don't care for Jacob or Zaeed very much.

Killed of Tali, Zaeed, Grunt, and Jack in a playthrough...tried to kill Jacob but somehow messed that up. In my default first playthrough only Jack died. I just think it was unrealistic that everyone made it out, but obviously have playthroughs where they do.

Planning to kill Zaeed, Thane, Jacob and Miranda for my engineer. My vanguard and adept will save everyone, most likely.

In one playthrough I killed all alien squadmembers, except for Mordin. I originally planned on killing some squadmembers for the next playthrough but I just couldn't do it.

I've never killed anyone off intentionally, but I know a fair amount of people who've killed off Jacob.

Except my first play through where I wanted the achievement, I kill off Jacob every time. Others are random depending on Shep's mood. Jacob is just not going to make it to ME3 in my games, I'm not even going to use my everyone lives ME2 ending as an import. Here's why I kill him, he reminds me of Kaidan. After Horizon, I really don't want Kaidan anywhere near me but it seems like I will have no choice because like Jacob, I always killed Ashley in play throughs. Still wishing I could have offed both Kaidan and Ashely and got to keep Kirrahe. Jacob always falls during his own loyalty mission. Really? You dragged me here and you can't keep from falling. I also believe in not using medi-gel, too bad for you if you fall. Then he volunteers to go through the vents during the SM, well everyone in that room knew it was not a good idea. I still wish Miranda didn't interject and it was Legion instead who would say, "Odds of survival 0%." So, he goes through the vents every time.

I've killed almost every character in the dozens of endings I have, the only one that has survived every time is Thane. Yep, never killed him. The irony of the dying one always getting to live. And well, he's an assassin. I love assassins.

I would kill randomly. I figure it would make Mass effect 3 different with each play through.

I purposely killed Subject Zero and Jacob.

What gets in my crotch is that when they die and at the end with the coffins BioWare makes Shepard give a damn about them when my Shepard didn't give two sh!ts about them.

I usually save everyone, but on my latest playthrough, I'm thinking about letting Thane and Jacob die.

I also accidentally killed Tali once. I couldn't take seeing the lone coffin on the Normandy in the cutscene so I reloaded and saved her.

Jack accidently died in my first game and i've managed to keep every squadmate alive in most of my playthroughs since. I intentionally created a failshep with only Kusumi and Morinth surviving.

In my first playthrough I sent Thane in the vents and he died. It wasn't intentional but I have no interest in him so I went on. Every other playthrough I have saved everyone.

Though I do plan on making a playthrough where only Garrus, Mordin, Tali and Legion survive, but that will be after ME3 comes out.
