There was an episode of Buffy with these wierd floaty guys who wear suits steal everyones voice. God, those things scared the crap out of me. Those grins.

As for Doctor Who, the Angels never scared me much. If they get me, i still get to live out my life, just sometime else. The Silence, on the other hand........how do you kill that which you cannot remember.

Those two are pretty much it.

Maybe Dren from Splice.

Well, when I was about 9 years old, the Wallmastersin The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time really scared the hell outta me. I think that that already was a sign I would never be able to stomach horror stuff in my life. I got kinda traumatized by watching The Hills Have Eyes (that scene where that girl gets raped by one of thos creatures, I don't remember well 'cus I've banned those images from my mind) and I recently got scared by merely watching some videos of Amnesia: The Dark Descent on YouTube. It's the music used in that game. It kept on repeating in my head and whenever I'd close my eyes, I'd hear that music when a monster comes near in Amnesia, y'know, that particular tune, and I'd expect to see a monster right in front of my eyes when ever opening my eyes again. Really scary stuff, yo. I must admit, I'm a huge scaredy-cat. I hate hate hate horror movies. I tend to avoid them and watch comedie movies or detective cases instead.

Ok, the Silence are creepy. I also think that they're the only cool looking villains from Doctor Who. Still, the Midnight Entity was also scary because of its abilities and the fact we never get to see it.

The creatures from Amnesia had a bigger effect on me than the monsters from Dead Space or any other horror game. I once had a nightmare with one chasing me down a long corridor.

Movie: The Gray Aliens from the movie :Signs". the Gray looking aliens still creep me out to this day.

Video Game: The children necroporphs in "Dead space 2" I did not regret child abusing them with my plasma cutter.

T.V.: Anything that has to do with grey aliens.

Angel of Death from Hellboy 2.

Not sure he qualifies as a creature (then again, he's hardly human anymore), but Kroenen, from the first Hellboy certainly mande an impression on me...

I'd call it a copout, except that I've watched Irreversible. No human can walk away from that film unchanged.

A Serbian Film is quite unpleasant too.

I like this form of The Thing. Or should I say, between forms.:D  You gotta love the handcrafted stuff.  F**k CGI when it comes to horror.

Not only that but the "reasons" for the movie and it's "plot" are mega BS.

Facehuggers from the Alien series still creep me out like no other. Many nights were put into checking under my bed, after I saw the first movie as a kid.

Yeah, the Thing's practical effects lend it some sort of freaky vibe that CG just can't convey. CG stuff often just looks too clean and ends up moving too gracefully- the more rigid movements of practical effects just gives them a WTF quality that makes it unsettling on an Uncanny Valley sort of level.

Coincidentally I was just being distracted on youtube and was watching the practical effects they were going to use on the new 2011 prequel The Thing. Yet the studio had them scrap most of them to use CG for the final movie.  Such a shame.

And in my wanderings on youtube, I started watching HR Giger's plan for the xenomorph in Alien3. The whole kissing thing? Dear god, Giger is so gloriously messed up.

Yeah, that entire series has a subliminal rape message.

EDIT: Well, I suppose it's not so subliminal when it's right in your face...and throat...

Those things the Tzimisce makes in VTM: Bloodlines - ew. In fact that whole story line gives me the willies.

(Sorry can't find a piccy atm but trust me, they're creepy).

Edit - apparently they're called "headrunners" I can see why.  They're a head with legs...that's it.  /shudder

I don't know what intelligent space-faring race would invade a planet which is mostly filled with what kills them
