So, in preporation for Mass Effect 3, I've been doing full playthroughs making all the choices that I want, doing all the side quests, ect.

I finished Mass Effect 1 on the 360 last night and when I went to import my character into Mass Effect 2, the selection screen "froze" I put this in quotes because I could back out of it and select the very first character on the list, but I could not scroll down to the character I wanted, it was stuck on the first choice. 

Does anyone else have this problem and is there any kind of fix for it? Or will I just have to use my old Shepard, poor choices and all?

I tried it, wouldn't work, eventually I got frustrated, backed up my saves and uninstalled the game and put it back on. Fixed the problem. Very strange.

Very strange indeed. A proper freeze would have meant you could do nothing but restart the console. That you could exit the screen suggested something else at play. No matter as long as it's working.
