I know the fourth race in each class is locked out for demo purposes (for most of us, excluding those with hacks), but looking at each one, I have to say, I’m pretty excited about some of the possibilities. There are definitely a few I’m looking forward to playing for various reasons. Having played the MP demo myself already with what’s there, I figured I’d rank the four “locked” classes as far as “most anticipated” goes. For me, it’s not necessarily a “who do I think’ll be best” list, but more of a “who do I want to try out most” list.

1) Asari Vanguard: Stasis AND charge?!? Sign me up. Lift grenade is a great added bonus, especially if there’s a teammate who has warp while I’m busy freezing and charging. I enjoyed using stasis on higher difficulties when I’ve decided to use the Asari adept and this could actually be even more fun when coupled with a shotgun or assault rifle instead of the pistol I normally use (for adept)

2) Quarian Infiltrator: It’s got the class standard Tac. Cloak, which is already a positive for me to start out. Obviously the sticky grenade is a parallel with the human infiltrator. Sabotage is the ability that sells me on wanting to try this class.  I want to see how it works, as it would definitely be fun against an enemy like Cerberus and change the game a bit. (“Come on engineer…you know you want to lay that turret down.” instead of “Engineer! Hurry and kill him before he sets up a turret right around the corner!”) Of course, the jury’s still out on how well it’ll work. That alone (along with the cloak) probably sets this one just above number three for me.

3) Salarian Engineer: I have a lot of fun playing as a Salarian Infiltrator and have learned to love that Energy Drain in the right situations (obviously it’ll be great in the full game against Cerberus). The combat drone has been fun as an Engineer, especially in distracting certain enemy types. I also want to see how well the decoy functions in getting out of sticky situations.

4) Turian Soldier: I think the prox. mine has some potential after using it (in the right situations) with the Salarian Infiltrator class and I am interested to see what Marksman will bring to the table in multiplayer (and how it’ll actually work in the game offensively…similar to the whole “adrenaline rush” situation).

5) Drell Adept: If Reave works the way I think it will, that combined with the cluster grenade alone is going to be a lot of fun. May counteract some of the squishiness if you’re able to drain back health as a Drell. Although I still find the biotic explosion possibilities of a human adept fun (at lower levels) and obviously love what stasis can do with the Asari.

6) Korgan Sentinel: Gotta love the Krogan. Although, this positioning is mainly a byproduct of the Sentinel probably being my least played class in the demo so far. Just a matter of personal preference. I enjoyed using the lift grenade in single player (especially cross-class with warp), but I don’t know if incinerate is going to do it for me as the other power in addition to tech
armor.

I'd love to get your thoughts on which race/class combo you're looking forward to playing.

Krogan Sent, as a Krogan Soldier it already hard to kill me I am basically a Sent/Van right now... the idea of adding EVEN MORE shielding seems like I will be unstoppable =p.

Asari Vanguard, full stop. I love vanguards, and stasis is just crazy.

Oh and krogan sentinel, just for the crazy 70% DR potential (aka 5334 Sheilds, 4000 health)

You can use Sabotage in the SP. Both Infiltrators and Engineers have it. It's a quick recharge with a decent AoE. If the target does not have shields (not sure about armour) then the next time they shoot their gun it explodes and they take damage (quite a lot of damage by the way almost kills them) and then get hit with the standard electric stun animation. Great CC and damage.

Against synthetic enemies it hacks them and it works through shields. It works on Turrets (awesome).

Very, very powerful ability. Going to be devestating against Geth and very good against Cerberus (guns and turrets).

Drell adept, mainly to see how reave works, and also because I go with whichever class has acecss to pull.

If we get to customise our power kits, then I honestly don't know which race I'd go with.

Asari Vanguard is a must have fun spinning machine for me, at least by the sound of the skills in question

Yes, but I think it could be even BETTER with a group of teammates on hand to watch.  haha
