Finally registered the game, but now getting the HTTP 404 error when trying to download the toolset. It's definitely past the published availability date/time (It's now 4:37 pm CST 11/3/09. Why can't EA or Bioware post something about what is going on instead of letting us bang our heads against the internet wall?

Publishers control the development kits, look back to the days of NWN2's toolset. That was strictly Atari's fault.

Now that I finally managed to get the game registration through there's still the matter of the 404 on the download. Pretty sure they're currently out to buy more duct tape for their servers, but I hope they get around to fixing the link soon.

This has been a horrible game launch... I have seen worse though.



Oh, and I am getting 404 error when I try to grab the tool set as well. First, unable to register, now this... Fun fun fun.

Thanks for the post it clear alot of things up Toolset not ready yet. All well it will be soon.

And by "a bit" fluffy means "completely".



You need an regeistered and installed copy of the PC version of DA:O in order to download and install the toolset. The Toolset uses the game's engine and resources.
