I've played this game far, far too much, and have managed to unlock the Revenant VIII...
For comparsion, I have a Widow II and a Carnifex II, so it's mostly just luck. I use it on my Turian Sentinel from time to time, and while it is enjoyable, the mattock, phalanx or carnifex outclass it in pretty much every way. It's just so sad that a gun that's so much fun to fire is so useless :/

I liked the Krogan shotgun too but everyone else seems to hate it. Its incredibly impractical but watching dudes fly when I shoot it is awesome.

Wondering if anybody has upgraded the Revenant to X level. From what I've seen in the screenshot thread, the Avenger X deals more damage than Revenant I by quite a bit. Not sure if there's a significant difference when they're both at X level.

For someone without the firepower pack, the Revenant is my Soldier's love in ME2. Recoil, inaccurate or not, the enemy stagger and damage alone make up for it even on Insanity.

I wonder how is it compared to the ME2 version?

The awesome feeling when firing this gun is reason enough to equip it in itself.
You can spend the entire round hosing down a wall with a smile on your face, and anything nearby that happens to get killed is just an added bonus.

We dont all want to use the most perfect cookie-cutter build. It is fine if someone want to max their stats, but there is more to a game than that.
