Paragon, GAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRUUUUUS and to be decided. I'm a huge Garrus fan, if you haven't yet figured out.

I always mix my team around with games like this. I have trouble with the idea of picking up large numbers of followers and having most of them sit around twiddling their thumbs throughout most of the game.

ME1 is a bit of an exception since you get achievements for sticking with a set squad throughout the game, but it still feels awkward to relegate the role of most of my squadmates to background scenery. In my current ME1 playthrough, I have Kaidan and Tali helping me out, so I can imagine my current Shepard getting to know them well, but it's going to be kind of strange when I import the save into ME2. I can already imagine my Shepard running into Archangel and saying: "Hey, I remember you! You're that turian who always hung out in the Normandy's cargo bay for some reason. What's your name again?"

Anyway, I'll have a mixed team.  As for Shepard, I'm thinking of a male renegade, though I haven't decided on a class yet.  It won't be my canon Shepard (female paragon soldier), since I'm saving her for my second playthrough.

I usually do that, but I end up just using team dextro and Liara. I really hope this game has more missions that forces certain squad members.

Male Infiltrator? (might make him a Sentinel, this time around, haven't decided) - Ash, James (and I hear a lot about Tali... I know she was mentioned early on as a Squaddie, but haven't seen anything on her recently... If she is in the game, I'll definitely use her for my male Shep playthrough though)

I'm going as Soldier Shepard with Garrus and Ashley, was thinking about having the Prothean instead of Ashley but have decided not to recruit him until my second playthrough so I can see what difference it make having him in the game.

Like others, I'll definitely use all of them at some point...well maybe not Tali...>__>

1st: InfiShep, Liara (LI), Ashely (and sometimes Vega depending on if I need lethality or durability)

2nd: AdeptShep, Ashely (LI), Garrus (and sometimes secret member)

3rd: Soldier Shep, Secret squaddie, Ashley

4th: VanyShep, Kaidan (LI), Vega

I'm gonna go with my infiltrator.

In ME1 he was mostly teaming up with Garrus and Liarra (whatever my ME1 play-through I always went for three equal warrior/tech/biotics bar).

In ME2 he was mostly teaming up with whoever seemed logical or interesting for the mission which was fun as far as gameplay was varried but very disappointing as far as story was because Bioware didn't seem to think like I do about who's interesting where (like Grunt never reacting to Mordin talking about the genophage in his loyalty mission or nobody reacting on the Citadel when taking Legion for a stroll in the Zakera ward).

Depending on how it's build I'll either go ME1 style (mostly Garrus and Liara if possible) or ME2 style (taking whomever seems linked somehow to the mission).

Infiltrator Shep. I always rotate squad members for each of the missions, but when it comes to the final battle, I'll roll with Garrus and Tali (like I did in the other ME games).

Me, too.

I don't agree with the concept of a "canon" Shepard, but the first Shepard I plan to import is a female Paragade Soldier.

The Engineer Team is at least seriously metro.  I hadn't thought about an Avengers Team...good idea!  Shep could wear the Inferno Armor!
