Does anyone know if you're able to reset your abilities in multiplayer?
Let's say I have an "Engineer" that's fully leveled but I now want to take his level tree down a different road. Is this possible in the full game of Mass Effect 3?

It is possible in the fullgame.

I'm curious to know if this will be an option in the main game too. I think I might'a 'dun goofed on my turian sentinel's tech armor path.

There was a way, but BW deleted the thread, involved modifying the bin file.
