Turn your gamma up, fiddle with brightness/contrast.

It really depends whether you prefer mood or to easily be able to see.

Just goes to show that if you want something done right, you need Cerberus to do it.

I like it, it reminds me to the inside of the SR-1 Normandy.

Security reasons! DOH!

Would be funny if the cockpit got blown up on the first shot. No one would notice cos of the door >_>

Hmm, you might have hit on  something there, I could not fathom the reason for the door either, but now I'm wondering if the cockpit can be seperated from the hull.

Joker: wait wait, your assigning me to Shepard again?
Command: those are your orders!
Joker: make sure I can eject, the mans suicidal!

Sealable bulkheads are probably a good idea on a warship.

Don't really mind the darkness.
Will most probably have hard time putting up with all those System Alliance drones infesting my ship tho.
Perhaps I can hold a emergency drill that involves them checking out the airlock and pick up my old Cerberus crew afterwards?
One can dream.

All areas of the ship where already sealable with barriers.

I like the darker atmosphere.  It's reminiscent of the SR1, which I preferred over the Cerberus SR2.

It's missing something though...

I agree they should have put that back in or better yet made a new version of it.

Barriers seem more fallible than having an actual door.  Particularly if your ship is getting shot up.

if your worried about it being too dark turn up the brightness.

and SR-1 Normandy was dark inside as well so i am guessing Alliance vessels have bare minimum lighting whereas Cerberus goes to town on it

Like all of their experiments that went wrong? How upset are you that your beloved Cerberus is your enemy in ME3?

I thought most of Cerberus' failures were caused by Shepard.

Gotta keep in mind that you're likely looking at the PS3 version which usually tends to have a darker look as a rule of thumbs on top of the intended darker look.

its actually the 360 version that usually has the darker but more vibrant look when it comes to multiplatform titles.

Just a couple of experiments went "wrong", and even then still managed to achieve the desired results. As for the latter, I can hardly disagree with what they're doing in ME3. The real crime is there being no alternate path of sorts in ME3...

The darker atmosphere is fitting when taking into consideration the atmosphere of the entire game.

Please, the entire game is darker, and not in tone. I just bump the brightness up a bunch, and wham, I can see things.

Nope, it isn't too dark.
Actually, the previous one was too light.
The Normandy is ship built for battle, recon and scouting duties. With some heavy firepower. It's not a glamour luxury liner.
I really, really like the new look, it much more reminds me of a submarine.
