Sorrybfor posting this way...phone is acting wierd.
Anyway, I just finished the game and all DLC but arrival & the AI one, everyone survived, renegade ending, level 26. I tried to start a new game importing that save, and the opening cinematic played fine until after Joker asked for someone to fight the fire. Then, the screen goes black...but I can still call up the menu (no articles show up in the encyclopedia, no missions show up, etc). It never gets to the point where it shows Shepherd putting on the helmet.
If I exit the game or load a save from my previous game, it shows Shepard in the black screen for a second before closing down. If I hit the button to go to the weapon wheel, it still plays that high pitched sound, but nothing happens.
The old saves I have still play fine. I tried clearing the cache, no dice

I would put it down to 'one of those things' as there doesn't seem to be anything in particular, especially on console there's very little we can do.
All I can suggest, seeing other saves of yours seem to work, is to reimport again to see if the problem crops up.

Thanks. For the help. No luck, though...tried with all my saves (getting REALLY sick of that intro). I'll try deleting & reinstalling from the disc. If that doesn't work, I guess I'll start over & use a save editor
