I hear people mention that in some games they find it easy, and other times far harder.
I suspect it's entirely down to latency.
The game hides it well, but the pings you get in match-maker created games can on occasion be utterly horrendous.
I just finished a gold match which was utterly impossible, and spotted no end of glitches I'd never seen before.
- bleeding out long before the death bar was empty.
- after being revived my character's model went into the animators default 'starfish' pose, but my camera went to spectator cam! A few seconds later it jumped back into my body.
- resurrecting infront of a turret, and *instantly* dying again - no opportunity for any user input at all.
- certain attack animations (nova) not playing at all.
It looks like there are a good number of game events for which there is no client-side prediction performed.

Yeah, I've gotten used to correcting my aim for latency issues. It's great when I'm just soloing or manage to host though.

Game looks to me like it does client side for almost everything, im not even sure me and teammates are playing the same game. I have never saw any aiming lag, so hit calculations are def client side.
Ping EU-US: 150ms
of that:
100ms is travel time
50ms travel time to ISP <- can be improved by users to get a massive boost in ping time.

I haven't experienced any lag that epic, but I've definitely had some matches where latency was enough of an issue to force aim correction and render my Human Vanguard mortal.

My computer isn't the greatest and I have an extremely hard time on silver. I think it's mostly because of the high end graphics, my computer can't handle both the graphics and the online play at the same time. I think once the full game is released and there are adjustable graphics, things will get better.

you already have adjustable graphics , just go to the configuration tool

You can change the screen resolution, but that's not the same as changing the graphics from High to Low.

This is probably the only thing I don't like about the match making is that there isn't a setting that only puts you on servers in your country (or at least not as far as I know...)
Sometimes I get unlucky and play on servers with people from the Middle-East, India and Indonesia, and even though they are cool people (they aren't as kick happy as English people) its bad for my latency...makes it hard to shoot straight at an enemy and I've had other problems too.
Only a minor problem but it'd be cool if they fixed it in a patch or in the copy when the game comes out.

I have only once experienced noticeable lag, but that was completely unplayable. The enemies were warping all over the place.
But I think I get to host more than half the time, so maybe I am just lucky. Or maybe I am given priority because of my 30/30 Mb connection, I don't know how it selects the host.

And this is why I love living in Australia. Unless the host is from Australia or somewhere very near, you're gonna lag your socks off.
