Don't wanna sound insensitive, but knock it off already with the whole Femshep body type debate. So she can't be skinny? Get over it. Give the girl a break, she's been through enough beauty contests and has a galaxy to save.

In the meanwhile, not a peep about Sheploo's body (well no complains here I think he's on point :P).
But you know what I mean.

It's not about attractiveness, it's about be able to do their job!   How is female Shepard going to use powerful assault weapons with skinny arms like that and no upper body muscle?

Male Shepard may be a "hunk" but he also looks 100% like he can handle weapons and punches.

Also, wut? An eating disorder is not comparable to homophobia.

After seeing the femshep underwear shots.. I'm at a bit of a loss..

Heroine chic is the perfect description.. Kinda hideous if you ask me..

I always thought of femshep's body as looking more like Gina Carano's.. Ya know.. hardcore..

Simply put Bioware should not be forced to change characters vissually or personally due to people being sesnitive to if for whatever reason.
If someone opposes gay relationships, does that mean they should not have gay characters? No
If a guy is senseitive about how ripped Vega,Shepard, and jacob are should it be changed? No

You are seriously compairing stupidity and homophobia with an eating disorder? You really don't have a clue about the problem.

The eating disorder is not the games problem, to suggest it's unfair that Bioware made a character skinny because your sick is silly. Expecially when i bet you will never be forced to not wear clothes.
Homophobia may not be a great example, but i'm sure people can get just as seeing a super ripped males body as a skinny female body.

Plenty of people have defined bones without having any kind of disorder, it's normal. Not Average but there's nothing wrong with it.

Defined bones?... this is skin over bones instead of meat over bones.

Yeah, it's very lame how femshep looks so frail and weak in comparison to the very buff sheploo. I have a hard time believing that femshep could even carry her own gear or that her hand wouldn't shatter from punching a turian(lol).

I already said I will be having my shep be fully clothed as much as possible. There is a reason for a semi nude skin, which I assume is for the romance. I will be trying to concentrate on my LI at that point and not femshep's body model. Unfortunately this will have to happen when no one else is in the apartment and I will ahve to explain to my friend/roommate why it will not be possible for them to see the romance scenes they have been wanting to see.

All were saying is that she looks UNHEALTHY. Sure she can be skinny and have huge lips and look like a ginger Angelina Jolie, but she looks like she doesn't have enough time to eat.

ManShep looks healthy--like he eats and works out regularly. FemShep looks like she's starving herself for a beauty pagent. . .Sorry that's all I'm trying to say.

No it's really not. Just like many people have Defined collars and shoulders many have defined ribs.

it's can be completley healthy and there is nothing wrong with you just because you have a rib cage that protrudes.

That sounds like their problem, not the games. If your triggered by as something as little as this i don't see how you got through the last 2 games considering they had just as many sexual/skinny body types on females.

Highly defined bones and a very low body fat is not what I need to see. ,And femsheps former nude model was not nearly as boney.

Her bones are not highly defined, they are defined.
Again it's not all about what you need, plenty of people IRL look like this and i'm sure plenty of people like the subtle changes. I doubt their going to force you to have your armor/clothes off for very long if at all.

i'm sorry if this causes you personal trauma but that's on your end and would be a poor reason to change it because some people can't handle looking at a skinny person.

You're such a butthead.

Maybe i'm not explaining my view point clearly enough.Because i think my opinion is a reasonable one.

The thing is.. you are conflating being uncomfortable with something with being triggered. Being triggered is very deliberate language. In many cases being tirggered can lead to a full on panic attack.

As someone who has/has PTSD from a car accident I was in.. being triggered is a big deal. I am just beginning to get over it now. In the worst instances it is like I am trapped reliving it and feeling everything I felt. It's like going back to square one.

"
After a traumatic experience, a person may re-experience the trauma mentally and physically, hence avoiding trauma reminders, also called triggers, as this can be uncomfortable and even painful. Re-experiencing symptoms are a sign that the body and mind are actively struggling to cope with the traumatic experience."

Now I havn't read the whole thread mind, but is there any dress blues in the casual lists? My favorite outfit in ME2 was the "captains" shirt as I called it.

No question about it really; her ribs and pelvis are scary.

(And as a side note, from a modler prespective, her elbow is looks weird.)

I love how bioware decide to use a body that has triggered every single person in my eating disorder group, including the men.

who showed them the picture?

personally she looks too skinny.
michelle obama has thicker arms then her.

Honey, the woman looks unhealthy... is that supposed to be the image of a woman who saves the galaxy?

She must look like a french supermodel in order to achieve something?

This is stupid, not only gaves women a wrong picture, but it also destroys the self esteem of those with eating disorders by telling them that all the process of feeling weak, hating themselves, hurting themselves, even killing themselves, its ok, because they now, not only they look like the heroin of the galaxy, but they are in the standars of beauty and health of society. You're ****ing their minds.

It may sound overreacted, but this is how some people feel and act. You're playing with their health beacause you don't want change?

Yeah, they've had the odd, backwards-bending biceps problem since ME2(1?), but it's most pronounced on FemShep since she uses the male rig and has noodle arms.
