Not sure if these were posted before, but here's the Alliance Officer's uniform for both MaleShep and FemShep:

If someone can mod this uniform unto Ash I'd be almost completely happy with her.

Ah, well, and Femshep really doesn't look at all like I'd imagine an elite soldier to look like when it comes to her body.

That sounds like their problem, not the games. If your triggered by as something as little as this i don't see how you got through the last 2 games considering they had just as many sexual/skinny body types on females.

Highly defined bones and a very low body fat is not what I need to see. ,And femsheps former nude model was not nearly as boney.

Her bones are not highly defined, they are defined.
Again it's not all about what you need, plenty of people IRL look like this and i'm sure plenty of people like the subtle changes. I doubt their going to force you to have your armor/clothes off for very long if at all.

i'm sorry if this causes you personal trauma but that's on your end and would be a poor reason to change it because some people can't handle looking at a skinny person.

You're such a butthead.

Maybe i'm not explaining my view point clearly enough.Because i think my opinion is a reasonable one.

Simply put Bioware should not be forced to change characters vissually or personally due to people being sesnitive to if for whatever reason.
If someone opposes gay relationships, does that mean they should not have gay characters? No
If a guy is senseitive about how ripped Vega,Shepard, and jacob are should it be changed? No

The thing is.. you are conflating being uncomfortable with something with being triggered. Being triggered is very deliberate language. In many cases being tirggered can lead to a full on panic attack.

As someone who has/has PTSD from a car accident I was in.. being triggered is a big deal. I am just beginning to get over it now. In the worst instances it is like I am trapped reliving it and feeling everything I felt. It's like going back to square one.

"
After a traumatic experience, a person may re-experience the trauma mentally and physically, hence avoiding trauma reminders, also called triggers, as this can be uncomfortable and even painful. Re-experiencing symptoms are a sign that the body and mind are actively struggling to cope with the traumatic experience."

I understand that but it's not Biowares duty to change every thing due to a small bunch's sickness.
i'm sorry she won't be able to look at naked fem shep, but it's not reasonable to change it for that reason.

Now I havn't read the whole thread mind, but is there any dress blues in the casual lists? My favorite outfit in ME2 was the "captains" shirt as I called it.

Go check second post of last page for starters.

Wow just missed it, thanks! That looks great. I'm glad they decided to upgrade the military casuals as well. That is definitely going to be my shep's outfit for the most part.

...Although my shep will look silly wearing that while sparring with vega.

Plenty of people have defined bones without having any kind of disorder, it's normal. Not Average but there's nothing wrong with it.

Defined bones?... this is skin over bones instead of meat over bones.

No it's really not. Just like many people have Defined collars and shoulders many have defined ribs.

it's can be completley healthy and there is nothing wrong with you just because you have a rib cage that protrudes.

Ah Jesus Christ! I'm done

Honey, the woman looks unhealthy... is that supposed to be the image of a woman who saves the galaxy?

She must look like a french supermodel in order to achieve something?

This is stupid, not only gaves women a wrong picture, but it also destroys the self esteem of those with eating disorders by telling them that all the process of feeling weak, hating themselves, hurting themselves, even killing themselves, its ok, because they now, not only they look like the heroin of the galaxy, but they are in the standars of beauty and health of society. You're ****ing their minds.

It may sound overreacted, but this is how some people feel and act. You're playing with their health beacause you don't want change?

To be fair, I wouldn't say her body was unhealthy - looks perfectly normal to me - it's just not fitting for a frontline, special forces soldier who undoubtedly has to meet certain physical requirements.

Don't wanna sound insensitive, but knock it off already with the whole Femshep body type debate. So she can't be skinny? Get over it. Give the girl a break, she's been through enough beauty contests and has a galaxy to save.

In the meanwhile, not a peep about Sheploo's body (well no complains here I think he's on point :P).
But you know what I mean.

It's not about attractiveness, it's about be able to do their job!   How is female Shepard going to use powerful assault weapons with skinny arms like that and no upper body muscle?

Male Shepard may be a "hunk" but he also looks 100% like he can handle weapons and punches.

Oh, I think she can handle herself just fine! Where have you been the last couple games? She kicks butt! Posted Image
Plus there was that whole Cerberus cyborg dealio I don't really want to get into...

Point is, Shepard's strenght goes or at least should go beyond his/her physical appearance.

I found Jack to be infinitely more attractive than Miranda, or this new Femshep.

Her chest isn't obnoxious, nice hips without looking like a spoon, slender waist without looking sick, arms aren't built like toothpicks, etc.

All I have to say is
1. Why can't my FemShep have an Awesome leather jacket like MSheps!?
AND
2. FemSheps dress is, Meh, I just don't care for the Giant zipper in the back, That can be fixed though if the dress is customizable.. like her armor.

Uh, complexion has to do with skin color and texture, not shape and definition of body.

The eating disorder is not the games problem, to suggest it's unfair that Bioware made a character skinny because your sick is silly. Expecially when i bet you will never be forced to not wear clothes.
Homophobia may not be a great example, but i'm sure people can get just as seeing a super ripped males body as a skinny female body.

She looks unhealthy to YOU, but there is nothing wrong with having a showing ribcage. it's a body type and just because your ribs are showing does not mean you are sick in anyway. She could eat perfectly fine and still look that way. and as i said before the ripped males could cause self esteem loss in males, and i'm sure that could trigger a disorder as well. Does that mean they should be changed?

No reason other than the fact that she doesn't look at all like someone who could hold their own in a fight of any kind.

FemShep and ManShep are supposed to be completely equal. Two sides of the same coin. Yet their level of strength and muscle tone is miles apart. Why is that?

Women who do what FemShep does do not look like that. My sister is an athlete who competes on the world level. She works out, hardcore, for 4-5 hours a day.. more during the summer when preparing for Team Canada. You cannot see her bones, they are covered with muscle. She is still slender (size 6) but she is in no way built like FemShep. The point here is that someone who does physical things, kicks as much ass as Shepard will not be built like that. Thin, yes, skin and bones, no.

Just found out that apparently I'm unhealthy and that I can't save the galaxy. And also that I might be French.
Seriously, this is getting out of hand, guys.

Did I even said that ? mmmmh ? :bandit:

Just the whole overreaction strikes me, I mean Femshep is a little squishy, yes maybe (to me Femshep always have been squishy ) but how is that such an issue ? Everytime you'll see Femshep, she'll be dressed with fine casual outifs (save for the tight ugly dress ><), so what's the big deal ?

They are associated but not the source of eating disorders.

Again i don't know how to say this without sounding like a buthead but eating disorders are a personal mental disorder. And it's not Biowares job nor should it be to deal with such a thing.

Being able to see ribs was one the the things we were told were not healthy. Also, yes I do think the Vega is too ripped, i've had men with eating disorders tell me he is too much to live up to.
