Age has nothing to do with it.  Are you seriously saying the dress BioWare "designed" is better/more appropriate than any of the ones I posted?

My name is "Jerkface." I strive to be as unclassy as the Internet permits.

And no. As I said (on the front page, no less), that dress is impressively hideous. In fact, it is so ugly, I imagine BioWare really would like us to use the default Alliance digs, much how they wanted us to use Sheploo so badly, that they even went through the trouble to design a CC that mostly generates nothing but monstrosities.

Butthead, you're bending over backwards to justify your opinion and it's making you look like a gigantic... butthead. You could at least show some respect for sashimi's issues.

I'm trying to compltley respectful of her issue, but at the same time i disagree with her opinion that there's something wrong with the way fem shep was designed.

And how can i be a butthead and bending over backwards at the same time?

Male shepard isn't ripped enough to carry around a rocket launcher with other weapons on his back.

Rocket launchers aren't exactly run and gun material.

Well actually firstly they are not running around with a BIG rocket launcher, ME weapons are lighter than todays counterparts. I was more thinking why FemShep wasn't on par with ManShep strength.

But if you want to go that way. Why make ManShep have muscle at all? Why not make him just slim?

For point a i was talking to slothful koala to let him know facts about EDs. And for point b, you said "trigger girls".

....Seriously?

Well i did not mean to offended by using that term, i don't see how it can be perceived as making fun of you though.

Because a woman like that is implausibly skinny for what she does in her career.

Because he's already been designed and is fine the way he is.

Just like femshep.

You do realize mass effect has broken just about every basic law in nature there is right?

But a skinny military female? OVER THE LINE.

Sorry, I just saw this.

It was EPICNESS. The best J-pop you've ever heard.

It's pretty clear that the whole game was built and written with sheploo as canon shep. Watch the cinematic with femshep on Virmire, walking to the Normandy with all of Kaidans weight on her shoulder.

For some reason this reminds me of an interesting little tidbit - Sheploo is actually in the female trailer, too.  He's actually standing next to Miranda, and you can see him if you pause then.  Take of that what you will.

Well you either must be trying to push my buttons or are just completely unable to understand the gravity of the situation.

Well then hold to one position lol.

So far you said 2 things:

1) everything is fine.
2) everything is not fine, but it has been designed like that already and we shouldn't bother, because it is too late.

Pick one stance please.

Better looking certainly, but they don't appear to fit the style of Mass Effect. Besides, those dresses are still much less casual than ManShep's jacket and jeans, and they don't send the same message about the character. They might be acceptable if the male shepard's version was slacks and a dress shirt. Maybe a tie.

You know why, it's considered "sexy" in this world today for some odd reason.

I understand you have a serious disorder and so do many others that is harsh to deal with.

But i don't think the situation of femshep being skinny has any real gravity to it.

Again, they broke every law in the universe, and even Male shep could not carry all the stuff he does.

But Skinny female military? NOPE

Not by all. I for one don't think he looks sexy. As a straight male I don't look at him sexually, but I can compare him with what I want to be, and he doesn't look sexy at all to me.

She also needs to look like that, otherwise it looks like a 6 year old child carrying a man, silly no?

So with your logic, manshep could be a dwarf with three arms and no legs and sprays plasma out his rectum and you'd be ok with it?

There has to be some sort of connectable logic to what the player is seeing.. The codex is specifically there to give the player a way to suspend disbelief concerning the ridiculous space magic on display. Man shep looks like he could hold his own, femshep no.. Physical body image is a natural human concept, and the image of femshep, looking like a Calvin Klein model from the mid 90's does nothing but make players go "Wha?"

No, no. Scroll back up. You said it was fine BECAUSE it was already designed that way. I say it was NOT designed fine. So you either tell me why it is fine design aside, or tell me that it is not fine, but already designed.
