Shepard finally got tired of Kasumi talking about Jacob's abs and he finally went to the gym. It's also where we recruit Vega.

Never gets old. :wub:

I particularly love the fact that Bioware didn't him sickeningly "Buff."  His shoulders and neck are still human looking, his legs are muscular but not kagaroo-ish, his chest is pronounced but not inflated, strong arms and abs without going with the cliché "Six pack."

He looks like a soldier, kept in shape by fighting and working out to keep fighting. Not some steroid-sculpted Mr. Universe.

To be fair, her body model in ME and ME2 had more or less the same problem The upper part of her didn't match the lower part of her body, and she wasn't well-built.

I can't say I'm too upset by Shepard's physical profile. I certainly wouldn't call her frail, but she looks similar enough to me to previous cutscenes where she showed skin. We'll just have to see. I'm excited to see these "casual" looks on Kara Shepard.

That being said, the dress is just unfortunate. I was very excited when I thought it was a tank top, but realizing it was a dress - and a replacement for the jacket - was extremely disappointing. I don't think it was a decision born of any disregard for Femshep, but I do wonder if they ran out of time to do a real equivalent to the leather jacket and copied Diana Allers' dress. It simply makes no sense that Shepard would show up for any function at Alliance Command in that - not during an inquiry, anyway. What, is the coming from the club?

Nonetheless, I'm excited to try all this out. Thanks for the pics and the laughs.


They should have given ManShep a Firefly inspired outfit and FemShep Sigourney Weaver's famous tank top outfit from Aliens. Huge missed oppurtunity.

That would have worked. It is a bit of a missed opportunity. The thing is, there are Shepards - some I've created, in fact - for whom that dress works. But not in that context or environment. Unless we're missing something, there isn't a casual-professional option for FemShep (her Alliance uniform being the "professional" option).

Is there a possibility that there are other options that haven't yet been seen?
