That would have worked. It is a bit of a missed opportunity. The thing is, there are Shepards - some I've created, in fact - for whom that dress works. But not in that context or environment. Unless we're missing something, there isn't a casual-professional option for FemShep (her Alliance uniform being the "professional" option).

Is there a possibility that there are other options that haven't yet been seen?

There isn't for MaleShep either.

.......unless you're saying MaleShep's motorbike jacket is casual-professional?

Seeing pictures like that ^ it's kind of a shame we can't get our Femshep to hook up with Sheploo. Sounds icky for some reason, doesn't it?: Borderline incest, ew. =)

it would be masturbation not incest

There was a time when developers would put funny cheats or extra modes into a game
I vote for a... Underwear Mode where all the NPC's and yourself appear in underwear

Nice! I always wished we had better looking casual outfits to choose from. I'm especially excited about the hoodie. (I believe that's a collector's edition exclusive, right?)  =D

Shepard does not look like he could hold his own against 1/2 the stuff hes against. and she would need to be ripped in order to look strong enough to hold grenade launchers,Shotguns,Snipers, and ARs all at once on her back.

and your ribs can show even with muscle. That is a fact. Genetics play a majior role in body shape and muscle will not always show/build in the same way with different indivduals.

Do you see any muscle at all on FemShep? This is not a case of "Oh, her muscles have built in such a way we can see her ribs!" (which is pretty much impossible buuuut). She has no muscle. None.

You're seeming to think I want FemShep to look like a bodybuilder. Bigger muscles does not equal more strength. Most bodybuilders are actually pretty weak, because they work out for the size of muscles, not the strength.

Again, to use my world class athlete sister as an example: She can bench roughly 200lbs. I think we can all agree that's really strong. She is not "ripped". Her arms are not super big or super defined. She weighs about 140lbs.

So I don't really see how it's a stretch to want FemShep to look like she can lift something heavier than a pistol?

These all topics are so funny. There is like general populace that has some tastes and priorities, and then there's BSN, which is completely different. XD

"Casual-professional" might be the wrong term, and admittedly, I made it up. What I'm trying to convey is that there doesn't seem to be...ah, hell, I don't know. I just truly dislike the dress.

I have said the current body models are fine, i was never referring to mutant dwarves.

"All of us know that a woman like that could never run around punching a yagh in the face"
Nor could male shep, they yagh probaly weighed atleast a 1000 pounds, in a real fight any shepard would have got destroyed.
and again Bioware has already broken many basic laws of nature in the ME universe, even ones we understand on a daily basis. Like gravity.

She still looks 90% less able than Shepard, and that is a problem.

no it's not since neithier stand a chance against any odds they face in each mission. Both would be to0 weak and fragile to any of the things they do.

You both are mistaken... Commander Shepard has been physically augmented by some really badass Cybernetic Upgrades, in Mass Effect 2.He/she has:

Heavy Muscle Weave: Microfiber Weave

Shepard's melee attack becomes more powerful.

Perforating the muscles with micro-fibers increases overall strentgh and decreases the potential for muscle damage from exertion.

This is why Shepard could trade blows with the Yahg Shadowbroker. At first, I too thought BioWare was testing my limits of suspension of disbelief when Shep was fighting the yahg. But I later realized that there was an in-game, in-story answer and explanation for Shep's surprising performance against a fellow like five times his size.

Heavy Bone Weave: Skeletal Lattice

Shepard takes -50% Damage to health from melee attacks.

By reinforcing the skeleton with a synthetic weave, bones can be made almost unbreakable. Inthe event of bone trauma, medi-gel conduits allow for bone regeneration in a matter of days.

Many thought that James Vega was on Shepard's level physically.Because they saw him using an anti-material sniper rifle like Shep. But as it was revealed in Mass Effect 3's Multiplayer. The Widow has been redesigned so a normal person can fire it without shattering their arm.

Heavy Skin Weave: Lattice Shunting

Strong synthetic fibers can be woven through the skin, dramatically reducing damage taken from most attacks. These fibers also act as a medi-gel conduit, improving healing.

Make no mistake.Commander Shepard is indeed now physically super-human! bioWare was just really suttle in ME2, with making this abundantly clear.if you recall, Shep even survives getting poisoned, by a concotion that killed antone else who drunk it.

This is why, as much as I look forward to 'Sparring' James Vega.Even though he is a big strapping lad.It really bothers me (from what I've seen) how BioWare is acting like James punches were really affecting Shepard. They had Shep, bleeding from the mouth, hunching over and looking like he was about to ask for a time-out and everything <_<

Shepard can't have heavy muscle weave if she has no muscle. Therefore, in order for this to no be a plothole, she must have muslce!

I agree that a LBD isn't really proper for anything that Shep's likely to be doing.

Mm..  I don't know how you look, but I'll take a completely wild guess, and say that if the two of you are mixed, babies will look someting like this:
