You don't LOOK like a lesbian, or straight for that matter.

That's probably debatable, but I don't really care so I'm going to ignore it.

Genesis with a woman's hair, long earrings, and high heels ftw!

Edit: THAT'S what we need! A DLC to make MaleShep look like Genesis, or Sephy, or Cloud!

you may say there are looks/outfits that are associate with lesibian culture, but trully you cant count on that.

just look at all the gay guys in the republican party.

I said it was a messed up BUSINESS. It's not business if it's free.

.... yes it is. It's still a transaction, and it's still a business decision by BioWare/EA.

I fear for today's youth if they think "being a business" is the same as "greedy and unethical".

Goddamnit. Image IPB

They should really fix femShep's hands. I like the N7 jacket, though.

Yep. I like most final fantasy character looks. Cloud, Genesis, Kadaj, Noctis are my favorite.

Shepard does not look like he could hold his own against 1/2 the stuff hes against. and she would need to be ripped in order to look strong enough to hold grenade launchers,Shotguns,Snipers, and ARs all at once on her back.

and your ribs can show even with muscle. That is a fact. Genetics play a majior role in body shape and muscle will not always show/build in the same way with different indivduals.

Do you see any muscle at all on FemShep? This is not a case of "Oh, her muscles have built in such a way we can see her ribs!" (which is pretty much impossible buuuut). She has no muscle. None.

You're seeming to think I want FemShep to look like a bodybuilder. Bigger muscles does not equal more strength. Most bodybuilders are actually pretty weak, because they work out for the size of muscles, not the strength.

Again, to use my world class athlete sister as an example: She can bench roughly 200lbs. I think we can all agree that's really strong. She is not "ripped". Her arms are not super big or super defined. She weighs about 140lbs.

So I don't really see how it's a stretch to want FemShep to look like she can lift something heavier than a pistol?

So she looks exactly like female Shepard in those pictures? And I am not asking super defined or ripped. I'm just asking that her arms wouldn't look like 2 sticks. SOME muscle structure would be nice, that's all.

I don't care about what kind of character he is. He looks awesome, and that's what we are talking about in this thread. If my Shepard would look like Genesis, I would **** butterflies.

D:

Genesis is wonderful! He's quite beautiful, and he's very tragic.

Not in the slightest.
I think at this point their begging for the jacket to be DLC and you know Bioware can name any price and they'll think them for adding it.

There is never anything wrong with cosmetic DLC in a game like Mass Effect. If you don't want it your experience won't be affected by having it, and it's a nice option if you do like to play barbies dress up or something like it. If the art team wants to make cosmetic DLC post-release content when the game hits the feature complete phase a few months before hitting retail well that is ok with me.

Bad examples:

Battlefield 3 was going to have powerful unlocks exclusive to DLC, that affects everyone who does not buy the DLC in a bad way.

Call of Duty has map pack DLC each year totalling around $45 for 12 maps, and you'd better believe that Activision will make their best maps DLC exclusive.

Prothy for ME3 was bad because the character and the files were already there, and one of the developer posts confirmed that before been denyed in the Ashes announcement. Bioware were caught red handed on this one, and if any of Biowares personal fluffers are reading me, nothing you say will change my mind so don't waste your time.

I do a bit of armor color customization sometimes... wouldn't pay money for extra customization though.

I understand, I could play little, depending on how good is the customization options. But there are limits to that too.

But basicaly I bought alternative armor parts and guns for ME2 and I actualy think they were the best DLC I got for the game. Same for Ninja Gaiden 2, bought the "Devil Hayabusa" outfit and it was pretty damn good. Not to mention Dead Space 1 & 2 had good ones, added to replay value for me.

For what it's worth, I think Gackt is ugly. But Genesis is beautiful.

The first time I saw Gackt in his Genesis outfit, I thought, "Wow, that's some awful cosplay!"

Ok.

Most nowadays DLC costs unreasonable money, for cosmetic changes, some of which like the prothean one is cut from the game, even though it was supposed to be in the original game from the beggining. Developers also don't want to release a toolkit for players because then they would be able to make hundreds of mods, and not buy their DLC's. DLC with extra story are nice, though they again feel like they should have been in the game to begin with, and the game should have been released when it was actually done, not half way with a whole bunch of adding allong the way.

I like Bethesda. They made Skyrim then made the toolkit DLC FREE, for players to make awesome mods.

A game is "done" when it is finished being certified. Anything added afterwards is irrelevant. I played Mass Effect 2 without the DLC for almost a year before I could buy it. Before and even afterwards I feel that the vanilla game is a complete experience.

I wasn't aware that tool kits were DLC.

Sure it can feel like one. Still the more the better. it is really not that important. Just stated my opinion on DLC.

DLC is downloadable content. Is a tool kit downloadable? Yes. Is it content? Yes. Is it related to the game? Yes. Problem?

Alright, I agree that Cloud is the best.

But that picture...

*snip*

Not so much the clothes, but i didn't think he looked anything like Genesis. That's a very important part of it, you see lots of cosplay with people who look NOTHING like the character they're trying to imitate, and it's just painful.
