So here's what I would suggest for Femshep: same jacket as the male's basically, shorter and fitted, a tank top underneath, tight dark denim and knee-high heeled boots (option to go under- I was going to draw that too but got lazy). :P As long as it gives the general idea...

PS: This style of drawing, cartoons and all, not really my forté, so please bear with me... :P Ignore the horrendous paw I gave her - horrible at drawing hands and feet -  I figured I'd give her a pistol and an omni-blade to try and hide, but... I'm over it. Just pretend it's not there. LOL. Anyways, hope you guys like it :)

Why on earth is her T-shirt covering her rear end?  Ugh, no class.

I do not see how the teeshirt being pulled down around the hips is a no class thing.

It's a cute girly thing, which isn't -so- bad. Give her some damn muscles and she can act girly. Without them it just looks totally out of character "Teehee, see how cute I am, Brb slaughting husks! ^_^" Yeah, **** that.

With muscle tone though? I wouldn't be upset by a little girly behavior. It's a fine balance, I think.

Those boots are FANTASTIC.

if I could get my hands on a pair, i'd wear them in a heart beat, all the time.

Wedges! YES! Like Ashley's, love it.  Image IPB  Oh dang it, should have made wedges...
Well, too late to change that, but if you don't mind I'm adding it to the post. :)

Just go back and fill in the gap and add notches along the bottom, hell my artistic talent is next to none and I think I could probably pull it off.

I might try.

No woman with class would have a t-shirt pulled down over her rear end.  Only chavs does this.

My first gut reaction was to flame you for being such a god damn idiot.

But I think I'll answer seriously instead.

I think PG's outfit is ****ing awesome. Do you have a problem with it? have you ever read a Power girl comic book? have you read her solo series? No? Then don't talk. Powergirl's outfit works for Powergirl, not every girl, obviously, READ what I said, I'm talking about HER BOOTS, not the whole outfit, HER BOOTS, JUST HER BOOTS. Try being less of a god damn idiot in the future and you might have something inteligent to say from time to time.

I ****ing hate block heads who see what PG looks like and immdiately draw conclusions. What's wrong, to distracted by the ****** to think like an inteligent self aware human being?

I love that the Alliance military apparently has standard cocktail dresses for N7 marines. They seem to want to stamp N7 on everything more and more each game. Why don't Ashley and Kaidan have their vocational code printed on everything they own?

There's no need to flame.  Let's be civil and respectful here.

What does that costume say about her?  It certainly does say "I have respect for myself and you" "I am a mature, educated and classy lady".

It says "I have breast and legs - look at them!"

Why doesn't she wear a nice dress or skirt and blouse?

lol @ the debates between the men and women in this thread. Hilarity ensues.

I think the artists might be better served by looking through more women's fashion magazines and such. In general, leather-like textures on something like a dress rarely look good unless the dress is deliberately trying to look sexy and form fitting. The Femshep dress enters this territory where it has a conventional design but the material and some elements just don't make it work. I think the biggest problems are with the "swoop" design/patterns and the straps - change or get rid of those and you have something better.

Any of these dresses pictured here look better than the Allers/FShep one.

LOL no, not pulled. It may look that way on the drawing, my bad I realize. I was sort of kinda going for this:

But it could be any top actually, a simple tank top, with a belt, no belt, whatever. Like I said, general idea. :)

Yes, a dress would be great for FemShep if it was classy and elegant.  But I don't think those words popped into any of the artists' minds when designing the one they made.

Dressing up like that just isn't classy, and I highly doubt anyone will be dressing like that in 2-300 years.

I didn't mean to be harsh, you're drawing skills are very impressive, I just didn't like that design, but it was well drawn.

Shepard does not look like he could hold his own against 1/2 the stuff hes against. and she would need to be ripped in order to look strong enough to hold grenade launchers,Shotguns,Snipers, and ARs all at once on her back.

and your ribs can show even with muscle. That is a fact. Genetics play a majior role in body shape and muscle will not always show/build in the same way with different indivduals.

Do you see any muscle at all on FemShep? This is not a case of "Oh, her muscles have built in such a way we can see her ribs!" (which is pretty much impossible buuuut). She has no muscle. None.

You're seeming to think I want FemShep to look like a bodybuilder. Bigger muscles does not equal more strength. Most bodybuilders are actually pretty weak, because they work out for the size of muscles, not the strength.

Again, to use my world class athlete sister as an example: She can bench roughly 200lbs. I think we can all agree that's really strong. She is not "ripped". Her arms are not super big or super defined. She weighs about 140lbs.

So I don't really see how it's a stretch to want FemShep to look like she can lift something heavier than a pistol?

So she looks exactly like female Shepard in those pictures? And I am not asking super defined or ripped. I'm just asking that her arms wouldn't look like 2 sticks. SOME muscle structure would be nice, that's all.

=]

If this is addressed to me.. I think you're confused. I wantFemShep to have muscles.

My point was that you can have someone look strong and have defined muscles (a la my sister) without making them super ripped (a la a bodybuilder). I don't want Shep to be a female James Vega or anything. I just want her to look like she can actually do half the things she does without her arms snapping.

If her upper body was made to match her lower body we would be moving in a much better direction.

She doesn't like pants, there's nothing wrong with that. She has great ******, wants to show them off. Nothing wrong with that. the female body is not something that should be hidden, we aren't living in the 1940's any more, jesus christ. "Oh crap, she's GORGEOUS better cover that **** up in a hurry"

Because of all the ignorant critizism she gets, writers had other characters ask her about her costume, she explains it a few different times. If you want to know why she wears what she wears, i suggest you read the comic (Here's a hint, it's not because she's a trashy classless ****)

She's got plenty of respect for herself, she is a little immature, but only when it counts. When the heat is on she is all business, but to be honest, I like the way she handles certain serious issues, her responses are sarcastic and girly, like spiderman, but with a feminine affect to them.

She doesn't conform, she stands out. She breaks so many stereotypes that she's nearly a stereotype all on her own. Lots of people have done the same thing. People like Madona, Lady Gaga. DOLLY PARTON...These famous women refused to conform and have millions of fans because of it. Powergirl is no different.

Lastly, your last comment(Along with your other idiotic comments) makes me feel like you're just trolling "Why doesn't she just dress like it's the 1950s" i half expect you to ask her to get back in the kitchen like some kind of 4chan reject. It's cute when they do it on /b/ because nothing maters there, but keep that **** where it belongs.

The badass wearing the leather jacket said so. Especially after stopping the machinations of mechanical demigods twice. Third time's the charm.

Lenght is the only difference, an oversized t-shirt would have the same effect. Heck, she could be wearing Sheploo's shirt! You do realize that's a cartoon and things tend to look a bit exagerated, too tight, "pulled"  (and as I mentioned, cartoons = not my forté :P) Could be any t-shirt. And the photo is just an example of the top "in case", not the overal look I've suggested. The drawing is more about the jacket than anything else. Forget the t-shirt! LOL

I do appreciate the compliments, though! That's very kind, thank you!!! Image IPB

This is the problem with today's generation, it's all "Me, me, me" not "What can I do for others?"  If a woman makes a tiny bit of effort to dress nice and classy it can make a great positive influence on others. You take me. One day, back in 1996, I was crossing over to Jersey on the ferry, and as we pulled out, there was another ferry pulling in, and on it there was a girl waiting to get off. A white dress she had on. She was carrying a white parasol. I only saw her for one second. She didn't see me at all, but I'll bet a month hasn't gone by since that I haven't thought of that girl.

When I go out, where it's just for a stroll or a fancy party I always make myself look as dashing and gentlemanly as possible.  It's the least I could do for other.

Just shut the **** up, troll.
