Currently in the demo, levelling up one character of a class, levels up the entire class, regardless of which races are unlocked.   

Will the full game separate these into individual characters?   or will it be the same?

No one really knows, I'd like them split though, not sure how combined leveling would work with promotions.

Probably not because the goal of MP is to level a character and promote to single player. If the alternate races shared XP then you would simply level a human, load an alt race and promote. Then rinse repeat for massive promotions. Catch my drift? This is why I doubt XP will carry over to alt races.

Thats actually encouraging. I fell in love with the engineer class and didn't get the quarian until level 18. I feel like I missed out on playing the quarian much, because once I got to level 20, I felt more inclined to play some of the other classes to try them out.

I agree with Navasha. I didn't get the Salarian Infiltrator until the class was maxed out. Maybe have the Human's level be combined since they're the same.

Yeah, I was a bit upset, that leveling up is so easy and quick. I mean you play like two Bronze matches and you are pretty much Level 10. Also not having to level up each race takes away getting familiar with the race and its power combinations.

Those classes don't level your N7 rank until you choose and name them.
