second that, especially on Jade Empire, it had such a fresh setting.
too sad it only has one game so far.

Starship combat.

I've always wanted to command my own star ship in battle Star Trek style.

I read some of an article over on Penny Arcade about how the doctors thought a Mass Effect MMO would be a possibility... especially after SWTOR.

Personally, I would like another single player Mass Effect series before Bioware decides to make it into a MMO. I think it would be a shame if they just went straight from Shepard's story to MMO-ville.

:(

I really hope they don't make an mmo. I'm not quite sure I'll be buying anything Mass Effect that doesn't involve Shepard. That being said I wish they would just leave it at Mass Effect 3 rather than run it into the ground.

Get the devs the next gen dev-kits as soon as they are out,

Get to work on Mass Effect - A New Hope (for Xbox720/PS4/PC) - new characters, set 50 years after ME3 finishes. Humans are a bit more wide spread, Asari's are still sluzzuts etc - Hybrid RPG-Action again, but with more online interaction, maybe a single player/mmo hybrid : so a FULL single player campaign on disc, plus the capability to take that character online into a persistant world, with more missions/flashpoints etc - could be possible with the next gen for sure.......

Get ME4 released as a launch title for next gen (probably Xbox as it will release first) : gives them 2 3/4 years or so to develop...

BAM. 10 million sold first week.

*cheque please BW* ;P

I would love for them to do a Jade Empire sequel, it was the first Bioware game i'd played.

As far as what they could do next....I would like to play the Quarian/Geth conflicts, although, I think the'll address that in this third game.

I wouldn't be surprised if they did something like Gears of War set during the 1st contact wars with the Turians, with a short 5-6 hr campaign alongside a beefy multiplayer. It'd be a pretty easy cash grab. And I like the Gears of War series so if it actually turns out good I'd get it.

If Bioware Victory pulls off a good C&C Generals, I'd love to see a ME RTS too. Too bad if they make it'll probably be multiplatform and end up scaled down like Halo Wars (which wasn't bad for a console RTS).

If Command and Conquer does well, they could certainly have BioWare Victory do it.

I think I need to really try all of BioWare's other games. To be specific DA Origins, Jade Empire and the critically acclaimed KOTOR. I have a great feeling after playing those that BioWare will be one of my if not my favorite game developer (though I think Nintendo takes the cake IMO).

I really will miss Mass Effect. But even worse than the trilogy ending is them making some half-effort to revive it (KOTOR 2 being a prime example of continuing something that shouldn't be continued, not sure how TOR is).

And an MMO would make me cry a bit.

I have a feeling this is coming... I wish more game companies would just stick to purely, or at least focus mostly on, single player games, such as Bethesda does. It clearly works and sells well if you make it right.

They could do games that explore events such as the Rachni Wars, the Krogan Rebellion, The Morning War, or maybe even just explore the aftermath of the Reaper invasion.

i really want them too continue with the mass effect universe, it has so much more too offer, the ME universe is so rich is lore,
i just hope they dont do a MMO, first they take years to finish, and gameplay and graphics in MMO type games, suck, and they will lose a large part of their fanbase, even though the mass effect games are my favourite games ever, i wouldnt buy an MMO

Well, let me put it this way : I generally dislike MMOs (hate social gaming mostly.. like to 'escape' with myself when gaming), and I LOVE The Old Republic.. even the mildly intrusive social stuff.. it's great fun, and a worthy successor to Kotor I / II.

The Mass Effect universe is pretty much the most popular Sci-Fi universe for gaming and fiction in general... I certainly like it better than Star Trek/Wars/Gate etc etc (and I have attended Trekkie conventions in the past lol), it is just so gritty, dark and entertaining.. why not make more games in something so great??

I'm all for new IPs whenever possible, but I feel Mass Effect is on the precipice of becoming something truly established and extremely iconic.. the next 'big & established' Sci-Fi universe.. just like Star Trek and Star Wars concrete universes, I think Mass Effect is the evolution of these great fictional realms - The Next Generation if you will..

I see it living long and prospering.. and spitting out a launch title for the next gen that will be amazing.
