So I'm wondering, how do hitboxes work in ME3? If I play a female soldier do I have a smaller hitbox than a male soldier? As in, will enemy MOBs have a harder time shooting me?

So I'm trying to shoot a phantom the other day and I got to thinking. This **** is so small she's just oddjobbing her way around the map being damn hard to hit.

that would mean there is subtle sexism working there!!! i dont see a hit box difference between humans. Between species? i dont think so either...never paid attention..think it all depends on the weapons.

Yes. The collision for the characters generally closely matches the mesh - so a Krogan will get hit more than a Salarian in some circumstances.
A lot of that will depend on the weapon that's being used though, since some have a fair bit of spread and others do not.
Basically, size is a very slight advantage.

Yep. I thought it was kind of silly when that happened to me, but it did motivate me to pop fortification and go headbutt the turret till it exploded, so maybe humpy hit detection is doing what it's supposed to do.FlyingWalrus wrote...
I noticed this while playing my soldier last night. Even though he was in cover his hump was still getting hit by stray rounds from the Engineer turret.
