But probably not, A FemShep I have romanced Liara and that's probably the only kinda homosexual relationship I have.

Haha, oh man, that investigate
Anyway, I am a straight male, as such I'll play a female Shep and engage in a girl on girl romance. That's what dreams are made of baby !
I guess if I played a male (I did initially, but femshep's voice is just so badass...), I'd still look for a female companion.

I was making the observation although I do agree with the first part of you response but Im pretty sure the Middle Eastern region has a pretty tough stance on homosexuality (more so than western countries)
You'd be surprised if you went there. Talk to a veteran thats served in Afghanistan or Iraq and ask him about man love Thursday.

Nope. Seeing that would disgust myself, physically so. Apparently it's "homophobic" to say that though and apparently I'm supposed to dress like a metrosexual hipster and say something about how terrible, biased, and intolerant western civilization is and how it would all be better if there were no standards etc.
It's fine... but it is homophobic, since that feeling you're explaining is a learned behaviour.

So I'm curious. How many straight guys are going to try a gay romance option (and you cant cheat by engaging in lesbian/asari one).
Also if you are/arent why (or why not), curiosity, completionism etc etc
Also I dont know who the gay options are so no spoilers please
I will.

How is a lesbian romance 'cheating'?

Disliking the act is not homophobic. Disliking homosexuals is. I don't see homosexuals any differently as people, but i personally find the concept of man on man off putting. Just like i'm sure some gays find the concept of man x woman off putting, but they would still treat them with the same respect they'd treat anyone else.
@Maria Caliban: Because almost all males love lesbian sex. Many would without a doubt create a femshep and pair her with Liara, because many straight males find that attractive. Male on Male? That is a completely different beast.

I don't like other men. Do I need another reason? As my cousin has explained (he's gay as springtime btw) people like you make the rest of his community look like jackasses. I tend to agree with him he's a wise man, and his husband makes mean Indian food. Would you kindly go away? You're a blight!
Rene: Are you doing a m/m romance?
Durgon: Teh gays are trying to shove their hot, throbing sexuality down my throat again! Why can't they be reasonable like me!?!?

Presumably it has something to do with how heterosexual men such as myself often enjoy lesbian porn but shy away from the manlovin'. Ergo, the homosexual romance must be something that makes us uncomfortable in order to "count". Otherwise it's "cheating".
Silly, 'aint it?
Myself? Nnnope, I'm going to be enjoying the finales of those Ashley and Tali romances.

Terrific. Take his comment directed at a single person and twist it to generalise every gay in the world.

I did start a pure renegade Male Shepard named Jack, so I may see where that takes me. I am confortable enough with my sexuality to not feel awkward if a male videogame character hits on me. Though I admit Anders in DA2 came on a bit strong for me. Maybe because I was used to him being all jokey and cheerful, and now he was sort of gloomy and needy?
Back to Mass Effect 3 though. I may dabble in the Male/male relationship just to see what they added. By no means does it offend me or make me uncomfortable. Will probably stick with Ashley as the main LI for that Renegade playthrough however.
Also of course I've done the Femshep and Liara thing. Doesn't count though right? Also have a Femwarden/Femhawke and Leiliana/Merril character in Dragon Age.
