This is a mirror of another thread I made for straight male gamers but Im curious; Are any straight female gamers going to pursue a homosexual (or asari) relationship.

Also I dont know who the new same-sex options are so no spoilers please

I'll be sticking to f/f romances most likely, mostly becasue I basically lost all motivation to play maleshep. though I did originally plan to play at least on of the m/m romances. I may change my mind again, don't know yet.

however, there are many straight female gamers on this site that will be taking full advantage of the opportunity. yaoi is pretty popular genre.

The problem with being bi is that I can never join in any of these discussions.

Female gamers who play femShep is more the focus. Im interested to see if in a virtual setting people are willing to experiment with romance against their identified orientation. That being said its an opeen forum if you want to talk about your homosexual ManShep go for it

Homosexual, most likely. Asari, definitely not.

Edit: Specifically FemShep/Human female options. I don't play male Shep.

That's why you develop a split personality, so you can join in on both discussions and argue with yourself!:wizard:

That would be the most ridiculous spectacle ever, methinks.

Well, I'm a gu- Asari, so I can go to all threads.
I do enjoy F/F romanced in a lot of games, but in ME I enjoy the MaleShep/Liara romance more than the one with FemShep, and the ME3 F/F romances don't really interest me so I will stay loyal to Thane.

My Femshep is going after Garrus first, but on my second playthrough she's going to get with Ash. I might create a new Femshep just for Liara one of these days. I didn't like her in ME1, but ME2 and LotSB made her more interesting.

Yep. It's actually one of the parts I look forward to the most. I think bioware does excellent romances, and I always try out all of them.:)

.. Also, I'm one of those straight women who get off on watching man-on-man action.
So, errr, that may possibly be one of the reasons as well.

I'm ace; we share a similar predicament. :P

But I'll answer anyway, because this is the internet and I can post anywhere I want, damn it! *shakes fist*

OT: I don't know if I'll have my character romance anyone beyond Garrus.  It really depends on the other characters and if I like them enough.  So...basically I need to wait and see what ME3 brings.  I'm not against the idea of a character romancing other characters besides Garrus, it's just...none of them have interested me or been able to draw me away. ^^

That's ok, I don't like it either, I can only bring myself to play through the game with a FemShep once.(And even then it's only because I like the Thane romance so much)

It works. I tried it.

No, it doesn't!

In short, yes. I already have a female Shepard with Liara. For ME3, it depends if I like the characters enough to have my FemShep romance them.

Same with ManShep. He'll be pursuing who is available and if I dig their characters enough. (:

I'm the exact same way. Can't play FemShep because I don't like Hale's voice.

Someone people are the reverse so *shrugs*

I never had any interest in romancing any female character.

And I never even had any interest in playing as male Shepard, but I might change my mind knowing he'll have same-sex options.

Just because no one will ever ask me, and I want to be completely opposite of the thread. I'm 100% lesbian, but my main female Shepard romances Kaidan. I just like his personality and background, and he is kinda a stable balance to my crazy Shepard. I also really like Garrus as well.

Will I try the s/s romance? Totally. Still the s/s options for me so far (Liara and Kelly) don't fit personality-wise. Kelly is too personable and Liara (at least ME1 Liara) seemed so young.

Eh, probably not. Not because I don't believe they won't be well done, but more because it would entail doing another run of 1 through 3 and I'm pretty sure I can't be bothered (and I can't just do a recap comic because I won't end up doing all the sidequests that way and it will annoy me). I'll probably watch them on youtube to satisfy my curiosity.
