When doing the suicide mission, for each specific job, did you choose who you did for a storywise reason or just gameplay reasons?
Vents you had the choice of Tali, Legion or Kasumi. Which did you choose and why if not for gameplay mechanic reasons? First fire team leader you could choose Miranda, Jacob or Garrus.Biotic specialist, Jack, Samara/Morinth.
Second fire team, Miranda, Jacob or Garrus. Escort, anyone. And finally who did you choose to accompany you and why?
And therefore, if there are similar choices in ME3 for the final mission or perhaps somewhere in the campaign, will you do the exact same thing this time?
And the final question is - IF sending a squad member on a specific mission or objective just like above results in their mission succeeding but ultimately and unavoidably kills them, what are your thoughts on this?

Hmm. Bit of a mix for me.
Vents- Legion. Reason: story. Tali and Kasumi may be good at tech/hacking but Legion is literally a machine.
Fire Team(s): Garrus. Reason: story. A good leader and long time trusted companion of Shep. Miranda would be a good choice story wise as well (2IC) but I tend not to because there may be friction (Jack speaks up against her and Garrus nods) where everything must run smoothly, and also I want her by my side.
Biotic Bubble: Samara. Reason: story. Most powerful biotic I have, and the most stable. Jack may be able to do do the bubble but Samara has the control.
Escort: Mordin. Reason: Gameplay. Apparently there's a high risk of him dying if you don't send him. I sent Jacob the first time around and Mordin survived. Now I mostly just do it out of habit. I could think of story reasons as well.
My squad: Miranda and Kasumi. Reason: They're always my squad. As a bonus, Miranda quits Cerberus and I think it makes the most sense if she's the one broadcasting TIM's holo at that point.
As for unavoidable deaths, I find the concept really dumb. But if I had to put up with there would be a hierarchy of favor. I don't hate any squadmate but there are only a few I will not sacrifice under any circumstances.

Ahh nicely put. That was exactly what the thread was about. Thanks.
I put Tali in the vents for story reasons, though i would have just as easily put Legion or Kasumi in. Biggest story reason - she has been at my side (she was permanent squad mate in ME1) since the start. Legion is a machine so hacking would be like putting new socks on. Kasumi makes a living out of hacking security.
Fire team. Garrus for the same reason as Tali. Been at my side since the start. Equal time as permanent squad mate as Liara in ME1. I would never put Miranda or Jacob as i still dont trust them.
Biotics. If this were ''use biotics to blow sh-- up'' i would take Jack. Samara is about protecting the innocent. She just has control that Jack lacks. (oh and Morinth is dead for me)
Escort. I agree. Too difficult to keep that guy alive otherwise. Though i think it best anyway as he is a scientist and the least combat proficient of everyone.
My squad - Well i will be honest and say its pretty much open to anyone and everyone. I have taken pretty much everyone as the fight does not lean towards any squad mate's particular skill story wise.
I will be really blunt and say if sending a squad mate to their death in the same manner as the mission above, in ME3... i will be REALLY p---ed off.
Bioware PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS.
